In the two weeks I have been here I have found the staff excellent - very willing and pleasant. My room is perfect, thank you. The meals have been good and I have enjoyed the company of other residents. This is a lovely place for people to come as residents and I would certainly recommend it if asked. Thank you for my stay here.

My father came to Lea Grange in September 2024 when it had newly opened. We were amazed how beautiful the care home was like a hotel! Being the first resident my family have got to know the staff very well and we visit regularly. The environment is so friendly and welcoming. Most importantly has been the standard of care. The staff are the heart of the home. They combine professionalism with great kindness. A year ago we moved my mother here from her previous home and she has blossomed greatly. She was initially hesitant but actively enjoys the daily routine and staff communications with families is excellent. The care quality and environment is better than we could have hoped for. My parents feel a true sense of belonging.

Following a stressful few weeks in which my husband's health and mobility declined, I took the decision to ring Lea Grange Care Home. From the first time I spoke to the client services manager and residential dementia care manager I felt completely reassured that the facilities and help that are available at the home would be of huge benefit to my husband. Whilst he has only recently moved in, the care and kindness he has received has been excellent. He is settling in well and joining in the many activities that are on offer. Thank you to everyone who has made this very difficult time so much less stressful for both of us.

Mum moved into Lea Grange at the end of November and settled in far more quickly than I ever thought she would. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, calm and genuinely welcoming, which was such a relief.
The care on the Dementia floor has been really positive and responsive. The Dementia Manager and her team are brilliant and clearly know the residents well. Even before mum moved in, the Customer Services Manager made us feel welcome and supported, which took away so much of the stress around the move.
Mum now joins in with activities, has made friends, and often tells me how much she likes the staff. It also really stands out that wherever we are in the home, staff know mum by name - that personal touch means a lot.

The home is always spotlessly clean and has a relaxed, caring feel. There's clearly a lot of thought and professionalism behind everything they do. As a family, we feel very grateful and reassured knowing mum is safe, happy and well cared for

From the day contacted Lea Grange the staff were helpful, attentive and friendly and this continued throughout my mums stay. They were very helpful in helping with any deliveries my mum received and ensuring she was ready with her hospital appointments.

Overall I would definitely recommend Lea Grange whether for respite care or longer term care.

I just want to say how amazing all the carers have been since my Grandmother Ruby has come to stay. The family have felt so comfortable knowing she is in good caring hands. Our Grandmother/mother is so precious to us all so it means a lot to us the great care she is getting. I would like to say Ivy-Rose has been amazing and honestly treats our Ruby as her own family such a kind hearted person and also a massive thanks to Rebecca who I've seen taking good care of our loved one in great respect. Also Jorge and Mary who are always also so kind too. Thank you to Lea Grange for making this hard time in our lives a little easier we appreciate it so much x

Mum initially came to Lea Grange for respite/rehab following a fall at home and a hospital stay. It did not take her long to feel settled at Lea Grange and she decided not to return to her flat. She has very much appreicated the care and support from all the staff, making new friends and joining in activities. Mum also appreicated the lovely meals. All round she is so much happier. Thank you.

My mother was in Lea Grange care home for ten weeks, receiving end-of-life care (no further medical investigation or hospitalisation was to be considered).
From start to finish, with the management and all the staff at Lea Grange (including receptionists, carers, nurses, cooks, cleaners), our experience of Lea Grange was excellent.
Everyone played their part extremely well - we were very impressed with how kind, professional, personable, thorough and willing to help everyone was - making Mother's residency and our visits as comfortable as they could possibly be in the circumstances.
Mother's own priorities were warmth and comfort, and she was always kept super-warm and super-comfortable.

In our period of grieving, it continues to be a huge comfort to us to know that Mother could not have been anywhere better than Lea Grange.

Lea Grange Care Home is wonderful. From the moment you walk through the door, it feels like a hug - warm, welcoming, and full of kindness. My mum has settled in so well; she originally went in for respite care but has been so happy there that she's decided to stay permanently. The staff are genuinely caring and nothing is ever too much trouble. The home is spotless, the food is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is full of love and comfort. They don't just care for the residents; they care for the families too. I can't recommend Lea Grange highly enough.

On every visit, each member makes every effort to be cheerful, friendly and accommodating. The food appears to be of a very high standard. The entertainment, activities and facilities have been many and varied but are currently reduced due to staff shortages. I imagine this will be rectified in the near future.

I would happily recommend the Lea Grange.

Mum spent the last 9 months of her life at Lea Grange. It was a difficult time as she suffered from severe vascular dementia but the staff were unfailingly kind and caring and we always had a warm reception. Would recommend unreservedly.

I cannot fault this care home. My mum is on the memory floor where the staff are wonderful. All the staff are so welcoming, caring and friendly. The decor is like a 5* hotel and my mum comments on the good food. There is a bistro area where we can take her for a drink and cake. The activities are brilliant, as are all the facilities(cinema, hair salon etc). I like the fact that they have put pictures up on the wall for her. She is well cared for both medically and personally. I feel she is very safe and in good hands. The lady in charge of the memory floor is outstandingly good at her job. The whole place feels like home and has a lovely calm atmosphere.

We would like to thank the staff at Lea Grange for making a difficult couple of months for my mother that bit easier. We had lots of questions before and during her admission and these were patiently answered. We appreciated all the support we were given as Mum moved in. Mum is now settled and speaks highly of both the care and nursing teams. She is also a fan of the good food. It all helps put our minds at rest that she is being well looked after.

I came for respite care following an operation. I found the staff very caring and supportive. The facilities are excellent, my only gripe, and I do realise the difficulty the kitchen have providing food for three restaurants, but often the food was overcooked, making it hard and more solid than should be. Portion size was fine. Condiments other than salt and pepper not available. Overall, I found Lea Grange, which is only 3/4 of a mile from where I live, the best option in the area. Just a few tweaks and it would be excellent.
