My relative has been in the care home for just under 2 months and her care has been wonderful. All the staff are warm, friendly and dedicated. Thank you Montague Hall.

My husband moved into Montagu Hall when I was unable to manage his care at home. It's a beautiful place, kept spotless and with staff who genuinely care for, even love, the residents. I feel that they could not have given him any better care if he'd been their own grandad. The end of his life was handled with great skill and compassion for him, me and the family. No one could have done more.
Thank you so much for your moving and thoughtful words. We are deeply honoured to have been able to care for your husband at Montagu Hall, especially during such a significant and emotional time. It means the world to us to know that you felt supported, and that our team's compassion and dedication...
A wonderful place!
Mum was not looking forward to her stay here for 2 weeks for respite care. She has absolutely loved it and she loves the staff, she said it's like a 5* hotel you want for nothing and are spoilt rotten, nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I am so pleased your mum enjoyed her respite stay with us at Montagu Hall. We hope to see mum again in the future. Thank you.
I visited the home and it was lovely and clean all the staff were very social and very helpful. They go out of their way to help people and show you a lot of respect.
My step mother has been a resident at Montagu Hall since May 2024. During that time she has been happy and more settled with excellent respectful care given throughout by very dedicated staff. She has liked the food her room, and has joined most of the events put on by the staff and external entertainers. From late June until her passing on 06/07/2025 the staff have gone 'above and beyond' in the close, attentive and thoughtful care given to my step mother, and also looked after myself, my wife and my niece whilst visiting her in her final days. We are very grateful and would recommend Montagu Hall to everyone!
What a lovely place to live. I love to visit my mum, who seems to be enjoying her stay with you. The place is beautiful and clean the staff are amazing. Great activities every day. My mum is enjoying her food too. The lady on reception is always happy and willing to help and gives plenty of advice. The Events Assistance Manager is so good with the people who stay there, always making them laugh. I love it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're truly delighted to hear how much your mum is enjoying her stay with us; it means the world to know that she feels happy, well-cared-for, and engaged. Our team works hard to create a welcoming and joyful environment, so your appreciation of the staff,...
The reception area, as you walk in, is impressive. Everybody we encountered had a smile. I knew immediately that people enjoy working here. The room my mother will live in is to a high standard. The staff just wanted to help. The visitors' toilet was immaculate enjoyed a cup of tea and relaxed with everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience from the moment you walked into our reception area. Creating a welcoming and supportive environment is very important to us, and we're so pleased that it came through in...
Montagu Hall have provided a safe haven for my dad, he enjoys his life here now knowing there is always someone on hand to help him. The staff and senior staff are all brilliant with him and they have so much banter between them. I feel safe knowing dad has 24 hr care and I dont have to keep expecting calls through the night anymore.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review.I'm so pleased to hear that your dad has settled so well at Montagu Hall and has built strong relationships with the fantastic team. I am happy you are so reassured knowing dad is safe and well cared for at Montagu Hall. Thank you.
This is my dad's 3rd respite stay at Montagu Hall. Dad kept telling me that he was very well looked after. The staff are always smiling and interact with the residents. Touches such as a glass of wine with lunch make a massive difference. I feel relaxed knowing my dad is well cared for which is massive for me as I'm a worrier. Calls are always answered promptly and when I called on one occasion to ask the staff to charge dads mobile it was done promptly. I can't thank staff enough for treating my dad with respect, dignity and as a person not just someone with Dementia.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review.I'm so pleased to hear that your dad has enjoyed his 3 respite stays at Montagu Hall. Your kind words about the team truly mean a lot. They take great pride in providing outstanding care and creating a warm, welcoming environment for all residents and...

She is thoroughly enjoying her stay and praises the staff on their thoughtfulness, caring and ability to deal with her day to day needs
Everyone is treated with respect and everyone I've had contact with has had a positive attitude to care and everything has been dealt with professionally
I would thoroughly recommend MH to anyone looking for this type of facility
My grandad moved into this care facility and was here for 1year he had several falls not all we was reported to us. Hospital admissions regular occurred again not always being notified on one occasion he had been back at the home for 2 days and all evidence of ambulance being in his room was still there. The rooms was lovely and spacious but not clean regularly. Over time we noticed that he became unkempt and had an odour and had to ask for this to be resolved on more than one occasion. The management are poor and not friendly at all as this was his final home but was made to feel unwelcome at times. There is activites happening with the home that don't cater for all residents and if going on an outing this is an extra cost. Unfortunately first impressions don't give the true reflection of the home and what you are getting all fur coats and no knickers as they say very disappointing experience for us as a family. Grandad always said the food was great but unseen as protected meal time.
We apologise that you feel that experience you received at Montagu Hall was not that of what we as an organisation strive to provide. If you would wish to contact us directly, we will look in to the concerns that you have raised and complete a full and thorough investigation. Please be assured that as company we take all complaints very seriously.
Since September, my uncle has been resident at Montagu Hall Care Home. The care and attention he has received in the time he has been there has been magnificent. He was not in a good place when he went in but he is now so much improved, which is all down to the skill and care from the staff that he has received. Thanks for all the wonderful work.
Thank you for completing a review of the home. Your uncle is a character and it's been lovely to see him settle and become part of the Montagu Family. He makes the staff smile and loves to chat with them. I will ensure that all of your comments are passed on to the Team.
During every visit, all the management and staff make time to interact with me. They are very friendly, clearly well-trained and my mother is treated sensitively and professionally. The atmosphere throughout the care home is calm and very designed. Food is excellent externally, the grounds are well tended and there is plenty of parking. Overall, I could not ask for more.
Thankyou for taking the time to complete a review for the home. I will ensure that I pass on your comments to all of the staff Team. Our Residents, Families and friends are important to us all and we aim to ensure that everyone is welcomed and treated with Dignity and Respect.
Mum went on several occasions for respite care and looked forward to going back. She said it was like going on holiday.
The staff show how much they care for the clients time and time again. They made such a fuss of Mum on her 90th Birthday.
Mum moved in on a full-time basis and is so pleased.
Highly recommend, please go and have a look for yourself.
Thank you for you kind comments, being in the company of your mother is a pleasure every day.
The staff were caring, compassionate and warm dealing with everything efficiently and friendly.

My mum has been here a few weeks and the service has been outstanding. All staff cater for Mum's needs and us as a family. Anything I ask staff, help and go beyond. I cannot fault anything. 5 stars.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of the home. The staff team all complete their training and this also continues during the whole time that they work at the home supporting the residents that live here. I will pass this review and your comments to them. Thank you for saying that the home is 5-star.
My relative transferred to Montagu Hall from a previous care home. The care she has received from this care home is second to none. The home is beautiful, comfortable and well-maintained. All the staff are kind caring and readily accessible. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the home with lots of interaction between staff and residents. Visitors are welcomed in a warm friendly manner. Rooms are excellent, bright and comfy. Menu superb. Highly recommend this care home. I feel very confident leaving my relative in the care of Montagu Hall. Thank you to everyone involved in my relative's care. Call in and have a cuppa and look around. You won't be disappointed.

Meet the Team (1)

I have worked in the care industry for 16 years and am deeply passionate about supporting older people to live their lives to the fullest, on their own terms. With a strong resident-led approach, I am committed to creating a home where every individual feels respected, empowered, and part of a family.
A naturally positive person, I thrive on helping both residents and staff achieve their goals, offering encouragement and support every step of the way. For me, care is not just a job - it’s an extension of home, and everyone within it is treated like family.
