All of the staff have time to talk to me they go into Dad's room and chat with him as he is unable now to join in activities. I'm kept informed on all changes and when doctors have visited and have regular updates. He has dementia. I can now leave and know he is safe and cared for. I cannot thank the manager and the staff enough.

My father had a very happy time at Oakmoor Lodge. He enjoyed the care and attention as well as having company and friendly people to talk to. Staff got to know my father and the whole family. We were so happy to know that he was safe and well cared for 24 hours a day. An added bonus was that Oakmoor Lodge has been thoughtfully designed and Dad had a wonderful room with a view which visitors always commented on. We only wish he had moved there much earlier!

There is a varied and interesting activity programme that covers things like handicrafts, quizzes and celebrating a range of religious festivals.

I was not going to put my mum into a home but dementia got too bad at home so I brought her to Oakmoore Lodge and I know I made the right decision. She is very safe, clean and she joins in with all the activities, so I am very happy with all that they do for her.
