Wow what a fantastic care home. I was here for two weeks in may, for respite. I can honestly say i have never stayed in a better home the staff were brilliant very caring nothing to much trouble i have quite complex needs so it had to be right for me and this home was brilliant food great room more like a hotel cant wait to come back again
Thank you for your lovely review, I am so happy you enjoyed your stay and I will make sure to share your feedback with the team. Cant wait to see you next time.
Since the moment my mum in law moved into park manor she was made to feel that this beautiful place was home, her room is wonderful, the meals are like a restaurant would serve and the staff and care is outstanding. Claudia and her staff are hard working, caring and nothing is too much trouble. Sylvia has settled in so well because of them, we never have to worry about her care there. Physically or mentally, she is a very sociable lady who was slowly missing out on that part of her life! But not now she is thriving and we couldn't be happier! There is always something to do there and they are so much fun we couldn't be any happier that her later years in life have become better and happier because of them
Thank you for your lovely review of Park Manor, I am so happy that we have been able to make such a difference for your mum in law. I will share this review with the team who truly do strive to provide individual person centred care to all of our residents and families.
The difference in my mother has been remarkable. She has completely thrived since moving to Park Manor-she is happier, more confident, and enjoys life again. Seeing her smile, engage with others, and genuinely look forward to each day has been invaluable to our family. She is a completely different person, and that is a testament to the exceptional care and support she receives.
The entire care team is fantastic. They treat every resident with kindness, dignity, patience, and genuine affection. It is clear they go above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Their communication with families is excellent, and nothing ever seems too much trouble.
Park Manor is more than just a care home-it is a warm, welcoming community where residents are encouraged to live.
Thank you for you kind words and your positive experience of Park Manor. Our team strive to deliver individual person centred care to all our residents, and I am very pleased that this has been your experience. I will share your review with the team who will be very happy to see that they truly are making a difference to the lives of the people we care for.
This care home could not cope with my wife took ages to answer any call buzzers from the room at one time had to wait for someone to come after half an hour I had to call for help. I'm sorry but I could not recommend this as a good care home.
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. We strive to provide compassionate, responsive and person centred care for all our residents, so it is concerning to learn that you felt we did not meet your...
I have visited my great aunt a few times at Park Manor now and it's always lovely. There is a lovely feel about the place. The staff are brilliant and are always at hand to help with a smile. My aunt is very happy there and always tells me about all the things that are going on. She enjoys the various activities that are on and she loves the food and cakes. Claudia the manager is very friendly as are all the staff. I enjoy visiting my aunt there as it's a really beautiful building.
Excellent care home for the planned respite visit. It has the feel of a hotel and it is also a nice place to visit relatives. The activity leader was a joy and cheered all the residents up. Staff were caring and respectful to the residents. Food was extremely good and opportunities to socialise were well provided. Generally the experience seemed to be as good a one as is possible if the elderly person cannot stay at their own home.
Thank you for your lovely review of our care home, Our staff go above and beyond to ensure individual person centred care to all our residents and families, and I am really happy that this was your experience of park manor.

I visited a friend for the Christmas event which thoroughly surpassed all expectations. It was well organised, fun and very enjoyable for all. The care home is beautiful throughout and the staff provide high quality care. They were so helpful and kind to the residents and their families. We had a lovely time and I'm so glad my friend is in such a lovely care home.

It is always a great boost to the team to receive such lovely comments and I will make sure I share this with them.
I was invited to visit Park Manor Care Home and attend their Christmas party, and I was extremely impressed by what I saw.
The communal areas are lovely and inviting, and the bedrooms are spacious and well presented, many with en-suite facilities, which makes a real difference to comfort and dignity. Everything felt thoughtfully designed with residents' wellbeing in mind.
The staff were outstanding - friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. It was clear that residents are treated with kindness and respect, and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout the home. I would especially like to mention the manager, Claudia, who was incredibly welcoming and professional. Her passion for the home and its residents really shines through and is reflected in the positive, happy environment.
Park Manor is a real hidden gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, caring and beautifully run home.

Both my parents have been in Park Manor for a few weeks now and we couldn't be happier! The staff are kind and caring, the management have gone above and beyond to help with the process and paperwork and mum and dad are both very happy. My sister and I went to see a few homes before deciding and as soon as we walked into Park Manor we knew that would be the right one. The rooms are lovely, the grounds are gorgeous but mostly they will have a quality of life that they wouldn't have had they stayed at home.

From the first afternoon of being at ( The Manor Branksome ) she had first class medical care , with very understanding, and caring staff.
Her health and wellbeing has improved immensely since her being a resident by 100%, my mother needs palliative care , she received much more then I ever expected.
All of the staff at the home have show great love and kindness to my mother, which is all a son could ask for.
The food is first class , reminds me of a top boutique hotel I stayed in , what more could I ask for from a home from home .
The general manager is very professional and understands what make a good nursing home, her staff are very well trained and really care, if any family are looking for a good home, with excellent facilities look no further.
The general manager has a great eye for quality and has this down to her professional team

Apprehensive about this move as six years in one home could create an big upheaval for my Mum.
However on visiting Park Manor for a viewing an an invitation to lunch my mother fell in love with the home.
The home has recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard and the bedrooms, restaurant and lounges are beautiful.
All the staff, lead by the manager are extremely helpful and pleasant and my mother is extremely happy saying it is like staying in a hotel. The mealtimes are organised so that all the residents are eating together with the opportunity to have a chat and the choice and quality of food is excellent.

Hello, my name is Claudia Carvell. By background, I am a Registered Nurse and have spent over 30 years working within the NHS in a variety of clinical settings, including acute medicine, elderly care and palliative medicine.
I have over 14 years of experience as a General Manager within care homes, and I am passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care to all our residents.

Interim Clinical Lead

My name is Jenni, and I am the Lead Administrator at Park Manor. Over the past three years, I have gained valuable experience working as an Administrative Assistant at a luxury care home, as well as with Dorset Council in a team dedicated to facilitating patient transitions from hospitals. Initially, I had reservations about entering the care sector, but I quickly discovered my passion for it and loved being part of a team that is there to care.
Joining Park Manor has been an exciting time, and I am eager to witness the beginnings of our journey and to help create a wonderful home for our residents. I believe a care home should embody the warmth of a family atmosphere, where both the team and residents feel like one big family. I eagerly anticipate welcoming all our new residents.

I am a local person and was born in Poole. I have worked as a receptionist for over 20 years. My name is Louise, I am the Senior Nurse at Park Manor. I have been in the care profession since 2005 and a qualified Nurse since 2009. My main background has been in hospital-based care, but I decided to challenge myself and work in the private sector. I love my job, care for others and gain a lot of job satisfaction in making my residents smile. I love animals, colouring diamond art and cooking in my spare time.

Hi, I'm Nat, I am the Activities Manager at Park Manor. My previous experience is in art and I studied at Bournemouth University. My name is Martyn, I am the Maintenance Manager at Park Manor.
