Park Manor Care Home aims to provide the residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort are of prime importance.

Nurses, Carers, and ancillary workers will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents within a warm and caring atmosphere and in so doing will be sensitive to the resident’s ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical/therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised digitalised Care Plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.

This will be achieved through a well thought out wellbeing programme designed on the three principles of mind, body and soul. Park Manor provides a range of wellbeing activities to suit the residents' age group. Social interaction with fellow residents, friends and family and the wider community are embraced.

Both my parents have been in Park Manor for a few weeks now and we couldn't be happier! The staff are kind and caring, the management have gone above and beyond to help with the process and paperwork and mum and dad are both very happy. My sister and I went to see a few homes before deciding and as
soon as we walked into Park Manor we knew that would be the right one. The rooms are lovely, the grounds are gorgeous but mostly they will have a quality of life that they wouldn't have had they stayed at home.

My mother was in need of a nursing home after a long spell in Hospital, she had many medical needs and was emotionally drained.
From the first afternoon of being at ( The Manor Branksome ) she had first class medical care , with very understanding, and caring staff.
Her health and wellbeing has
improved immensely since her being a resident by 100%, my mother needs palliative care , she received much more then I ever expected.
All of the staff at the home have show great love and kindness to my mother, which is all a son could ask for.
The food is first class , reminds me of a top boutique hotel I stayed in , what more could I ask for from a home from home .
The general manager is very professional and understands what make a good nursing home, her staff are very well trained and really care, if any family are looking for a good home, with excellent facilities look no further.
The general manager has a great eye for quality and has this down to her professional team

Arranged the placement of my mother to Park Manor Care Home at the beginning of June. She was previously at another care home in Bournemouth where she had been for six years.
Apprehensive about this move as six years in one home could create an big upheaval for my Mum.
However on visiting Park Manor
for a viewing an an invitation to lunch my mother fell in love with the home.
The home has recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard and the bedrooms, restaurant and lounges are beautiful.
All the staff, lead by the manager are extremely helpful and pleasant and my mother is extremely happy saying it is like staying in a hotel. The mealtimes are organised so that all the residents are eating together with the opportunity to have a chat and the choice and quality of food is excellent.

Mum, recently moved from another care home in Bournemouth and we were naturally worried how she would settle in.
The level and quality of the accommodation is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. From management to the cleaners, everyone is motivated to ensure the residents are looked
after.

Mum has been welcomed and made to feel at home by all the staff. It took her a while to settle in a bit now seems to be fully involved. She has been an independent woman all her but has adapted to a care home environment through the care shown by those who looks after her.

From the moment my friend moved in, he felt he has done the right thing. The staff are genuinely caring towards all residents. I visit every day and I can see they go above and beyond to ensure comfort and happiness. This is a new home. Residents are moving in gradually and obviously staff are getting
a bit busier every day. Hopefully they will be recruiting more staff soon as the waiting times for shaving in the morning and the meals, residents are waiting a bit long at present. However it is the best care home I come across in the past 2 years (I visited a few). Great rooms, library fantastic and cinema and also great food! I recommend Park Manor care home to everyone who has a loved one needing help. The staff are the best!

I visited Manor home for their Easter event with the residents, and it was genuinely a lovely experience. The home has everything you could ask for and is suited in a majestic manor with beautiful grounds. The staff are both welcoming and attentive towards the residents and visitors, they remember all
the small details and just very hospitable. I look forward to returning and participating in more activities with the residents.

My dad become a Resident at this Lovely home from April, 2025 and he is settling in really well. All the staff at the Care Home specially the Home General Manager have been so welcoming and making dad feel right at home. And they make us all welcome.
We could not ask for better home for dad, its
such a Lovely place with restaurant overlooking gardens (waiter service) and home cooked delicious meals.
Rooms are full with light and fresh air, stunning Dinning Rooms on each floor, Library Room/Activities, Cinema Room, Hair and Nail Saloon. Gardens with breath taking views and so much outdoor space for residents to enjoy. Dad enjoys playing domino and chess with us when we visit or with staff.
We have been through a lot heartache with dad in recent year so knowing that he is finally settling in, its such a comfort to us.
And most important of all that they take really good care of dad and we can relax knowing that his needs are met.

My Father has been at Manor Life for approximately a month now. For anyone looking for residential care for a loved one then this is the place to be. Manor Life is outstanding. The care my father receives is second to none. Each and everyone of the staff be it day time or night time show such depth
of care it is just joyous to see. The whole team centres their work around the residents, nothing is to much trouble. Right down to the care assistants the nurses, cleaners, back office staff, reception, chefs and kitchen staff, I couldn't have wished better for my father. I can leave after visiting knowing that he is safe. It is quite apparent that the manager of manor life had got things right in running this business. Every member of staff is such an asset and saying thank you quite simply isn't enough. Please know this, I am so very grateful for all that everyone at manor life does and each and every one of you deserve a huge pat on the back you are just awsome

To whom it may concern,
I write today to say I cannot praise highly enough the care my mum received in her final days at Park Manor Care Home.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, Mum's every wish and desire and that of her family, were met without question or delay. Mum was made to feel at home straight
away and a member of the Park Manor Family, such was the personal level of the care she received.
At all times, everyone was attentive, jolly, patient, focused and caring. I cannot think of a better place in Poole and the surrounding area for Mum to have been. A truly remarkable home: one where I would not hesitate sending other family members or even staying myself if the occasion ever arose.
Take care all at Park Manor, you are all forever in my thoughts and prayers.

My Father was the 1st 'Original Resident' of Park Manor & was very happy & fulfilled for the short time he had at Park Manor. It was his permanent home, and he loved it & the staff. From his very first visit, he felt at home, Dad described entering the library & 'the library hugging him, and he knew
that was where he wanted to be'
The whole team have been amazing, supporting & caring for Dad, they have met every need, gone over & above to ensure his comfort, safety & happiness. The are professional yet caring & empathic, their communication with me around Dad was exemplary, their multi disciplinary working with external medical teams was fab - they really do care
An elegant setting, spacious rooms, homely communal areas, the welcome, as a visiting relative was always warm - nothing was too much for anyone in the team. The atmosphere was a happy one, stimulating & engaging activities - one member of staff even writing Dad's memoirs as a legacy

My husband arrived at Park Manor in February 2025. End of life care provided, staff are all amazing, friendly, helpful and caring. Nothing too much trouble. Room is lovely and spacious with personal wet room, enabling sitting down shower. Menus and food are all excellent. My husband is treated with
dignity and his individual needs are very well catered for. Couldn't ask for a better placement, like a home from home. Made a very difficult decision feel it was for the best - Park Manor are so supportive to my husband, son and I - Thank You.

I have worked in the care sector for over 35 years in a variety of roles. I have been managing care homes for the past 25 years. My long career within the care sector has enabled me to develop professionally and obtain adult social care and management qualifications which has provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support residents and staff teams.


I am honoured to hold the role as General Manager at Park Manor and to have the privilege to work in such a wonderful home with a dedicated team. My focus is to ensure that residents live well within a happy and safe environment. I and all the team adopt a whole home approach to achieve successful outcomes for all and embed Manor Life’s philosophy that every resident should enjoy life to the full.

Over the past three years, I have gained valuable experience working as an Administrative Assistant at a luxury care home, as well as with Dorset Council in a team dedicated to facilitating patient transitions from hospitals. Initially, I had reservations about entering the care sector, but I quickly discovered my passion for it and loved being part of a team that is there to care.
