We needed to find a nursing home urgently for my 93 year old mum after a significant fall. St Cross Grange were brilliant from the start. Everyone in the team has made mum feel welcome and we feel very supported as a family. All the staff are approachable and friendly and we feel that mum's new nursing
needs are being very well accommodated.

My mother resided at Oak Hall Care Home for seven years, during which time she was looked after with great care and compassion. She was one of the first residents and has sadly just passed away, but the staff of Oak Hall offered incredible support throughout. It was thanks to their timely call that
I was able to be with her as she left on her final journey, something for which I will always be immensely grateful. It is a truly beautiful building and my mother loved looking out of the windows at the trees and lawns, which was particularly important when she became immobile. Before that she could wander around and enjoy being in nature, it is always beautifully maintained. I could not recommend Oak Hall more highly, most of all for its incredible staff.
Reply from Jane McAuley, General Manager at Oak Hall Care HomeThankyou for taking time out to write a review. Your Mum has left such a large hole at Oak Hall she will be very greatly missed. She was the first resident I met when I joined the company and was always a pleasure to chat to. She loved her numerous daily walks whilst she was able and enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. She will always be remembered with a smile on her face. Thankyou for writing such kind words.

Our mother needed urgent care after nearly a month in hospital. Jane and the team were amazing both in provision and their positive attitude. They knew our mother's needs to the point of telling us answers to questions we did not know to ask! They did everything possible for us, at incredibly short
notice, at a busy period to accommodate our mother and settle her in well. We visit daily and every staff member is exceptional. The atmosphere at the home is uplifting and this starts at the reception desk and extends to all the activities. Our mother is enjoying the multiple daily (3 a day!) activities, having lunch with people who she calls her new friends and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Our dog is enjoying our visits and being welcomed by residents. We are finding the care at Oak Hall exceptional. We cannot imagine our mother spending her close of life anywhere else.
Reply from Jane McAuley, General Manager at Oak Hall Care HomeThankyou for such a fantastic review. We always try to accommodate people at short notice. We understand how scary it can be for people not only to find accommodate but for the person moving in to make sure it is right for them. Your mother is such a sweet heart, she chats to everyone, enjoys the activities and the transition to care home life seems to have been so easy for her. Having family members that are so helpful also help with that. If we can work together it makes everything run smoothly. Thank you again for your review, I'm sure it will help other people in choosing a care home for their loved one.

I was invited to visit Park Manor Care Home and attend their Christmas party, and I was extremely impressed by what I saw.

The communal areas are lovely and inviting, and the bedrooms are spacious and well presented, many with en-suite facilities, which makes a real difference to comfort and dignity.

Everything felt thoughtfully designed with residents' wellbeing in mind.

The staff were outstanding - friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. It was clear that residents are treated with kindness and respect, and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout the home. I would especially like to mention the manager, Claudia, who was incredibly welcoming and professional. Her passion for the home and its residents really shines through and is reflected in the positive, happy environment.

Park Manor is a real hidden gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, caring and beautifully run home.

My dad has been a resident at Lincombe Manor Care Centre for several years and became very poorly at the end of November resulting in palliative care being in place up to when he passed on 1st December. I couldn't have asked for better care for my dad and have always known he was loved and cared for
by the staff. However, how the team dealt with the last week of his life was exceptional. As a result of the care Dad assed peacefully, without intervention, he wasn't in pain and the end was very dignified. I still have another relative as a resident who is equally well looked after.
Reply from Nicola Grace, General Manager at Lincombe Manor Care CentreThank you for your review. We feel so lucky to have been trusted by your family to care for your dad and are glad that Lincombe was the home that you chose for him to come to. I was advised by nursing staff that my father was approaching end of life. I drove to the centre to hold vigil. From the moment I arrived I was subject to the most fantastic support. Staff were courteous, respectful and most of all, honest with me and my family. Nothing was too much trouble and I shall
forever hold those individuals in my heart for their spport. My father died after three days and I am grateful for the advice and support, and privacy, proffered by the team, thank you is not enough.

We are so thankful that our mum was able to spend her final days at Oak Hall after a difficult final hospital admission and grateful to Jane and all the team for their care for her over the last four years. Oak Hall had become mum's home and we will look back fondly on memories of grandchildren playing
on the lawn during visits and family gatherings in the lounge. Jane, Dawn, Gabi, Rosemarie and Ramona were always so helpful and patient with mum's needs and gave her a new lease of life - encouraging her to get into her wheelchair and get her mobility back - after a long spell bed bound in a previous nursing home setting. Thank you all
Reply from Jane McAuley, General Manager at Oak Hall Care HomeThankyou for your lovely review. Mum was a major part of the home. She joined in everything we were doing in activities. She loved to be outside in the garden and on more than one occasion went further than she should have done. She was the life and soul at parties and always had nice things to say about the staff. Thankyou for taking the time to write a review for us, its so kind of you.

I found Park Manor to be a most charming environment when I visited a friend. The reception area is stunning and the rooms are all of a good size with en suites which isn't always the case with other care homes I have visited.
The staff and the new manager couldn't be more helpful and I would certainly
recommend this care home for anyone considering going into care or who has a relative or friend needing care. I was very impressed as had not been aware previously of this treasure which is tucked away in the depths of Poole.
