A dear friend has been in the care of Oak Hall for almost a year now and the improvement seen in her is amazing. The staff and Management treat her with great respect and gently encourage her to take part in activities. Having such huge social interaction I'm convinced has contributed to her continued
improvement. I cannot thank everyone who works at Oak Hall enough.
Reply from Jane McAuley, General Manager at Oak Hall Care HomeThankyou for taking the time to write a review. Your friend has improved since coming to Oak Hall and enjoys joining in with activities and spending time in the gardens. She's such a trooper and has worked hard with physiotherapy to get where she is today.

My 4 months stay here has been very beneficial for my recovery from a back injury. I was able to walk along the very spacious and bright long corridors every day, stopping if I wished in one of several beautifully decorated and homely lounges. I would like to praise the staff for being very friendly,
caring, and patient with everyone. I will definitely miss "The Grange" which has been a home from home, and the wonderful staff. Would highly recommend.
Reply from sarah moor, General Manager at St Cross Grange Care HomeWhat lovely feedback, thank you so much. We are very proud of our team and the support they provide and it is such a joy that they have helped you in your recovery.

I was a service user at St Cross Grange Care Home for a respite week following surgery. The home is clean and well staffed, the food is plenty, varied and tastefully cooked and presented. There are plenty of spaces to sit- other than one's room- on one's own or with visitors. The staff knew their residents
by name and their physical and dietary needs. It's a home I could recommend to others.
Reply from sarah moor, General Manager at St Cross Grange Care HomeThank you for your very kind words. I am so glad you were comfortable with us and we were able to contribute to your recovery. As always I will let the team know, it is so very nice for them to receive positive feedback, thank you.

Oak Hall Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My elderly mother entered Oak Hall Care Home about a month ago. We were very nervous about this step, as my mother has always valued her independence and autonomy, but her physical health had reached a point where she could no longer live alone in a safe manner. It turns out we had nothing to worry
about. Oak Hall have treated my mother with care, kindness, professionalism and dignity. She loves being at Oak Hall and has already built up a great rapport with the carers, residents and other staff. I am amazed by the diligence and concern shown by every member of staff towards my mother. They treat her like royalty and I know for sure that she is in good hands. I visit regularly and have nothing but praise for the carers and management. The care home has a friendly, relaxed air and in many ways feels more like a nice hotel than a care home. (A particular joy is taking our dogs to see my elderly mother - they are always made to feel welcome by everybody at Oak Hall!)
Reply from Jane McAuley, General Manager at Oak Hall Care HomeYour Mother is an absolute delight. She has a fantastic sense of humour. She comes to reception in the morning to borrow the newspaper and will stop for a chat and a coffee. She settled in very well and attends activities she enjoys and has made friends in the group which is lovely to see. Thankyou for taking the time out of your busy day to write such a nice review it is very much appreciated.

I had been my mother's primary carer for 8 years and was concerned about her care once she had deteriorated and I could not look after her anymore. St Cross Grange is an excellent facility and have provided her with excellent care in a kind and loving environment. She has advanced dementia but is happy
and content thanks to the superb staff. I cannot praise them enough.

We needed to find a nursing home urgently for my 93 year old mum after a significant fall. St Cross Grange were brilliant from the start. needs are being very well accommodated.

My mother resided at Oak Hall Care Home for seven years, during which time she was looked after with great care and compassion. She was one of the first residents and has sadly just passed away, but the staff of Oak Hall offered incredible support throughout. It was thanks to their timely call that
I was able to be with her as she left on her final journey, something for which I will always be immensely grateful. It is a truly beautiful building and my mother loved looking out of the windows at the trees and lawns, which was particularly important when she became immobile. Before that she could wander around and enjoy being in nature, it is always beautifully maintained. I could not recommend Oak Hall more highly, most of all for its incredible staff.
Reply from Jane McAuley, General Manager at Oak Hall Care HomeThankyou for taking time out to write a review. Your Mum has left such a large hole at Oak Hall she will be very greatly missed. She was the first resident I met when I joined the company and was always a pleasure to chat to. She loved her numerous daily walks whilst she was able and enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. She will always be remembered with a smile on her face. Thankyou for writing such kind words.
