This state of the art care centre offers not only panoramic sea views but a range of quality care options tailored to each individual resident’s needs. Residential and nursing care services are available for, short stay, convalescent or on a long-term basis.

All en-suite bedrooms are beautifully designed and furnished with high quality comfortable furniture, including the latest in electric multi postural beds to ensure your loved one’s continued comfort. Bedrooms have luxury en suite shower rooms, comfortable seating, remote control flat screen televisions and personal telephone system and of course; a fully integrated 24 hour nurse call system.

Very good staff they look after my dad well the receptionists are so lovely and welcoming. I would recommend the care home to everyone couldn't ask for a better place for my dad.

All the staff at Lincombe Manor are so kind caring and thoughtful. I have been here now for almost 18 months. The setting of the home is just lovely. With an amazing sea view. The activities we have are wonderful and I go to as many as I can. I am so pleased my daughters chose this hoe for me.

I came here in January following my stay in hospital due to a stroke. All the staff have been extremely caring and helpful towards my recovery. I have had a lot of encouragement to learn to walk again with aids and to use my left arm again for washing and dressing. I am very pleased with my achievements
and will soon be ready to go home thanks to all the help received I recommend this home.

Lincombe Manor is a marvelous home and has looked after me for 2 years now. Staff are fantastic and see to our every need. We can go up on the top terrace which is lovely. Activities are great and we are in the world wide quiz every month, I love that. My son of and daughter visit me lots and are made
to feel very welcome and my little dog visits me sometimes. I am very happy here.

A fantastic home that has given my mum comfort and security - and enabled her to feel settled and at home. She is on palliative care - but I'm certain the friendliness of the staff and the security she feels has helped to give her strength and keep her going - so we have been able to enjoy several happy
years visiting her and sharing meals and laughter.
I can't thank all the staff enough for all their hard work each day - and look forward to visiting. Set in such a beautiful location with amazing views - I know my mum feels very lucky to be there .

Well impressed from my first meeting with the manager and her reception staff.
They showed us around the care centre. I found it very homely and warm and all the staff had time for us.
After going around a few care homes this one Lincombe Manor came out of far and above the rest.

My stay at Lincombe Manor Care Centre was only for a few days, so it is difficult for me to give an overall assessment, but I would like to say that during that time, I was very well looked after in every aspect. There was always the comfort of knowing that if you needed help day or night, it was there
at a touch of a button. The food was excellent, a great choice, always well cooked and hot. Help with personal matters was always available and the facilities were kept very clean. I cannot comment on activities as my stay was too short, but there appear to be many things available to do if you were so inclined. I am very grateful to the management & staff for a very happy experience. Thank you very much.

My Father in Law was a resident of Lincombe Manor between 2018 until he passed away in March 2025.
During that time I made numerous visits.
The standard of care, the staff, the building,the facilities, entertainment etc was simply outstanding. Cannot fault one minute of his near 7 year stay.

Lincombe Manor is the very best care home I have ever been to. My dad was living there for seven years until he passed away recently. Throughout his time there all the staff without exception have been amazing, very courteous, friendly, knowlegeable, helpful and extremely caring and compassionate.
The nursing care is second to none and the home is run very efficiently.
The home itself is super clean, nice individual rooms, lovely light and spacious lounges and terraces overlooking the town. Plenty of activites for the residents. I would call Lincombe a hotel with care facilities.
I can not recommend Lincombe Manor highly enough .

My mum has been a resident at Lincombe Manor for over five years. When she was first admitted we thought she might have only months to live but it is a testament to the excellent care given by all the wonderful staff that she is still with us and today we celebrated her 90th Birthday. We thought Mum
would struggle to live in a care home because she has always been fiercely independent but Lincombe Manor has clearly given her a new lease of life, many thanks to the manager and the wonderful caring and friendly staff, who are professional at all times.

Mum has been at Lincombe Manor since January. From our very first visit, every member of staff has always been so very welcoming and lovely to us. As a family, we now feel we have peace of mind knowing that Mum is so well cared for. I have visited many care homes over the years. I can honestly say that
Lincombe Manor is one of the best care homes by far. It is in such a lovely setting with amazing views from the residents' lounge. As soon as anything is of concern regarding mum's health, for example, infection or increased pain, it is acted on immediately. Again giving us peace of mind as this was always something that was very challenging when Mum was living independently.
Mum really enjoys the activities. When she is able to attend. They always make them good fun for the residents.
Thank you to all the caring staff for looking after our mum so well. It is such a comfort to know she is safe and we all feel part of the family when we visit.

As a self funding resident, whom at the age of 94 we expected better care and communication for premium rates. Poor communication, leading to a very poorly Dad admitted to hospital. Dangerously high blood pressure and bruising that couldn't and wouldn't be explained. A manager that runs a care home
more like a business than a care provider. Wouldn't take our concerns seriously - emergency removal to another home. Beware, the building might be beautiful but is the care?

It is disappointing to read your review. We understand it is difficult when a loved one is unwell. When you raised your concerns to me at the time, I took them seriously and offered to meet with you, which you declined to do. Both CQC and Safeguarding also reviewed your concerns and confirmed that they were unfounded and that Lincombe Manor had followed all procedures correctly in the care of your father-in-law. Thank you for saying our building is beautiful. It reflects the quality care we deliver at Lincombe for all of our residents. Your father-in-law was a true gentleman who formed strong bonds with the staff that cared for him during his 9 month stay. We are sorry that we are no longer able to care for him, and hope that he has settled into his new home as well as he settled into Lincombe.

We had the most wonderful experience at a most tragic time.
The care of our late mother was absolutely outstanding with kindness, empathy and professionalism for our mother and for us as a family. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and in the most beautiful of settings.

Dad stays in Lincombe Manor for respite every 3-4 months, we chose this home as the staff are really friendly and greet Dad as part of the family. The rooms are very well decorated, comfortable and have en-suite facilities. He enjoys the varied food and I feel reassured that the staff are there 24/7
for him if he needs them. Dad never participates but the daily activities and entertainment look great.
If you are looking for five-star accommodation and facilities then Lincombe Manor is the right care home for you.

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2024

I was appointed as General Manager of Lincombe Manor Care Centre in January 2024. I qualified as a General Nurse in January 2003 after completing my training in Exeter with the University of Plymouth. I remained in Exeter, working at The Nuffield Hospital as a junior nurse and at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. I then joined the care sector which led me towards working as a Clinical Care Manager with Elizabeth Finn Homes for 10 years, which I thoroughly enjoyed.


Away from work, I live in Exeter with my husband and two children, Freya and Harrison. I enjoy horse riding, walking my two dogs and holidaying with my family.

My name is Helen, and I am the Clinical Lead RN here at Lincombe Manor Care Centre. I began my nurse training in 1985, starting in hospital settings in Herefordshire, Lincolnshire and South Devon. I have always felt very blessed to be able to find a career which I feel so proud and passionate about.


I relocated back to South Devon from Lincolnshire in 2017, which is when I began my journey at Lincombe Manor Care Centre, progressing in my role from RN, to Senior RN and becoming Clinical lead in 2024.


Away from work, I enjoy walking in beautiful Devon. I love nature and its vast variety of birds and animals. That said, I am equally happy to sit in a café with a good book and a latte, on a rainy day.

Job Title: Lead Administrator Joined: 2015

My name is Holly and I am the lead Administrator here at Lincombe Manor Care Centre. Some of my roles are calculating and running payroll, aiding Head Office with admissions and petty cash and ensuring all admin is correct and up to date. I am well supported by Karen and between us we keep Admin running smoothly. You will find Karen in reception, always happy to listen and help.


Before I was an Administrator, I worked as a Mental Health Care Assistant for over 12 years, gaining various NVQs and qualifications in the process. I particularly enjoy the HR side of my role, as I feel that all of our staff are very important and need to be looked after well.


When I am not working, I spend time with my husband, Pete, and our young Son, along with our new puppy Miniature Dachshund, Bean, who you may have seen sitting in Reception on occasion. I am here to help you in any way that I can, so please don’t be afraid to ask.

My name is Denise Barry and I've worked here in Lincombe Manor for 7 years I joined as a Senior Care assistant then trained to be a care practitioner. In April 2022 I completed my Level 5 Diploma and became an Assistant Practitioner where I not only get to support the residents health and social needs but work closely with our Nurses to provide high standards of nursing care to all who live at Lincombe. I've been working in the care sector for over 25 years, I've worked in residential and nursing homes, working with dementia residents and adults with learning disabilities. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with my friends and family.

I was first offered a position on the Wellbeing Team which I really enjoyed but when an opening became available for a Healthcare Assistant, I had to apply as that was my passion. I got the role and was a Healthcare Assistant for 1 year before being offered a Senior Healthcare Assistant position which I accepted. I really enjoy my job. I love to spend time with the residents and make them look and feel nice by helping with their hair and make-up.


In my spare time, I like to travel and spend time with my partner, family and friends. I enjoy festivals and being outside in the sunshine, summer is my favourite time of the year.
