Pearl Peak House

The staff at Pearl Peak House looked after my Dad and provided end of life care for him. I cannot praise them enough. Every staff member was kind, gentle and caring towards him. They treated him with absolute dignity, respect and he was very settled under their care. Nothing is too much trouble for them and as a family we will be forever grateful for their care and support.

Pearl Peak, where my mother stays, is wonderful. We are kept up to date with everything concerning Mum, health, mobilty and moods too. The staff are more than helpful and their capabilities to deal with so many personalities and issues are remarkable. Her diet was also mentioned, her weight showing a small loss, this has been noted and a plan is in place. Overall the review we had was assuring and we know Mum is well cared for.

In general Dad is well cared for, the staff have a good rapport with him and he is happy with most things although Dad would like to have his incontinence pads changed more frequently (we did mention this when we visited). Dad has been doing some activities, Valentine's bingo, shape sorting, chair bowling. The activity coordinator had put a lot of effort into decorating the home for Valentine's Day and encouraged Dad and other residents to get involved.

My mum had been living at Aspen Hill Pearl Peak for almost 2 years prior to her death. The care home is exceptionally clean and the staff care! Any issues that arose were dealt with efficiently. Any problems/issues with Mum communicated to the family. As a family we were always welcomed with a smile. Thank you as at times it was difficult.

I feel happy that my grandad is well looked after here. Also staff are really nice. The food is good.

Since my mother arrived at Pearl Peak House she has received fantastic care. All the staff have a great attitude and are always welcoming to myself and family. Nothing is too much trouble and they show nothing but compassion to the residents.

I cannot praise the staff enough. My mum was in Pearl Peak House for nearly 2 years until be passed away in May.the staff looked after mum like you would look after your own mum, they were always smiling, helpful and on hand. Mum loved them all. Mum was always clean at all times. If she asked for a drink she got one. It never smelt like an old people home. Bedroom always spotless. I know mum had loving people around her when she died.

Pearl Peak House it is excellent care home for people like my husband with dementia.

We find the care here to be excellent the staff ALWAYS keep us informed about what is happening. In our experience of vaious carers the ones at Aspen Hill are the most compassionate, always cheerful, very experienced in managing residents (not always easy) and well managed. A BIG thank you.

The meeting was a positive one.

Very pleased with the care home, and regular 6 monthly care plans to keep the family updated and our brother's health. Make telephone conversations if there is any change to the plane i.e. covid or influenza jabs and any health concerns where the families permission is required. Pearl Peaks is well-maintained and clean. Overall very happy.

My mother has been in Pearl Peak House since November 2023. I have been very pleased with the care and support which she has received during her time in the home. The staff are very caring and friendly. The communication is good, and most importantly, Mum is happy, settled and safe.

My mum-in-law has settled in well. Her room is spotless every time I visit, and she has a variety of meals. The carers are always available to speak to and work hard to keep the residents calm and settled.

I have always found the staff at Peal Peak to be caring and helpful. They are always patient with Mother despite her sometimes "challenging" behaviour.

Mum has received excellent care since moving to Aspen Village. The carers are genuinely interested in helping and caring for our mum.

My further requests on days out for my mum will hopefully be met.

My experience at Pearl Peak has been outstanding. This is due to the high level of care from all the staff here in this unit for my father, which covers his personal care and the cleanliness of the home. Keep up the fantastic work.

I can only compliment all the staff at Pearl Peak on their care, dedication and professionalism towards my mum and other residents. I have peace of mind knowing that my mum is very well cared for.

Mum seems settled. Most staff is helpful and friendly. Like the individual units, they are more homely (than a large unit).
