Thank you for your feedback and please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss. I responded to your email within the required 7-day period and I'm truly sorry that our absence at the funeral added to your distress. When you visited the home the day after your mum's passing, you shared kind words about the care she received, as well as the staff, management and environment - feedback that meant a great deal to the team who supported her for just over three years. While we genuinely hoped to attend, we had to ensure safe staffing remained in place for all residents. We were therefore saddened to see the online ratings don't reflect what you shared with us in person. I'd also like to clarify that we are not financially driven, we remain committed to accessible, person-centred care and continue to admit residents without charging any third party top-up fees. Please know we remain here to support you and your family and welcome any further conversation to help address your concerns.

We followed all necessary procedures in collaboration with healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies throughout her stay. Decisions regarding notices are never taken lightly and are always made in the best interests of the resident and those around them. Following her departure, we responded to your concerns through our complaints process. No concerns were raised by professionals regarding how we handled the situation. We understand that transitions can be difficult, and we wish your aunt all the best in her new home.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and positive feedback on our home's upkeep, security, and care. I appreciate your clarification that your comments were general observations, with no specific concerns. Our daily activities usually conclude by late afternoon, aligning with your typical visit time when residents are often resting, which may contribute to a quieter atmosphere. To keep residents engaged, we offer a range of activities throughout the week-singing, baking, board games, gentle exercises, and more promoting well-being and joy. Unique sessions, like owl adventures, pet therapy, and silent disco days, add a fun element. We also host weekly visits from local school volunteers, which foster meaningful connections. Our activities coordinator, currently on temporary leave, will return in January, adding further vibrancy to our programs. Your feedback is valued as we continue providing a warm, engaging environment for our residents.
