Priority Care is a well-managed, progressive care facility with compassionate, proactive staff. From the initial inspection to placing our mum in care the staff were informative, caring, and supportive.
It cannot be an easy job supporting the residents with their individual needs and requirements
but the staff manages this with a quiet competence, which is clearly well received by the residents.
Living so far away I'm grateful for the open communication and professionalism of the staff who are always available to take calls and provide updates. The residents are treated with respect and care preserving their individuality and dignity.
I know Mum is well cared for, thank you all for your dedication and professionalism.

Priority Care Home is staffed and managed by a team of lovely people who are doing a very challenging job extremely well. The facility is clean and well appointed with plenty of activities to engage the residents.
Living so far away I am comforted to know how well my mum is taken care of. Management
and all of the staff are always there to speak with me and the updates I receive are really appreciated.
The staff are warm, friendly, and caring. They engage beautifully with the residents, treating them with respect and dignity.
A huge thank you to all, I know my mum is well looked after and I am so grateful to all of you for your kindness, care, and professionalism.

Generally very well kept and maintained throughout. Good security.
Been several times and residents appear to be well cared for and pleasant with all the residents.
As they are mainly very elderly and evidently not in good health or condition they seem to sit almost comatose much of the time, and
perhaps more could be done to create some interest and atmosphere. Overall, no complaints from me, but not surprising as it is not me who is paying for it.
Reply from Nilesh Tailor, Owner at Priority Care HomeThank you for your thoughtful review and positive feedback on our home's upkeep, security, and care. I appreciate your clarification that your comments were general observations, with no specific concerns. Our daily activities usually conclude by late afternoon, aligning with your typical visit time when residents are often resting, which may contribute to a quieter atmosphere. To keep residents engaged, we offer a range of activities throughout the week-singing, baking, board games, gentle exercises, and more promoting well-being and joy. Unique sessions, like owl adventures, pet therapy, and silent disco days, add a fun element. We also host weekly visits from local school volunteers, which foster meaningful connections. Our activities coordinator, currently on temporary leave, will return in January, adding further vibrancy to our programs. Your feedback is valued as we continue providing a warm, engaging environment for our residents.

From the day my father arrived, the staff at Priority have cared for him and us as a family to the highest standard possible. The care, compassion and love shown to us all has been second to none. You have all played such an important role in our lives we cannot thank you all enough.

Priority Care Home is a safe place for residents and is staffed by excellent and caring staff. They work hard to care for and entertain the residents each day. The management is hands-on and is very approachable and professional. Having visited Priority Care Home most days for a year I would highly
recommend it and would happily live here myself should I need care.

Since my mum came into Priority Care in mis May the care, patience, friendliness and general expertise have been fantastic. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the care team. Communication is also very good and all questions are answered on an honest and friendly basis. Priority Care is very impressive.

Mum has been in Priority Care Home for over a year now. It's a clean and tidy place. Patients are well looked after and are attended to politely and with dignity. Professionally run and the staff are superb. The day staff are great. I have my reservations regarding some night staff. Mum reports that
she is not particularly looked after well first thing in the morning by one or two staff. I feel more staff are required overnight.
Reply from Nilesh Tailor, Owner at Priority Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Priority Care Home. We are delighted to hear that you find our facility clean and tidy and that our patients are well looked after with politeness and dignity. We also appreciate your kind words about our superb and professional staff. We acknowledge your concerns regarding the night staff. In February 2024, we increased our night staff team to align with the increased occupancy of our facility. However, we greatly value your opinion and want to ensure that your mother receives the highest standard of care at all times. To address your specific concerns, we scheduled a meeting with you on w/c 27th June to discuss this further. The outcome of our conversation outlined a miss understanding of staffing levels on nights and clarity on the care your mum receives. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

Since her arrival 12 months ago Mum has gone from being a confused and cantankerous old woman to a calm and happy person. It is clear that the staff at Priority have her and the other residents' best interests and happiness at their core. Her room is her own space where pictures on the wall are not
discouraged and it is always clean. Her hair and appearance are clearly looked after. The food must is plentiful and must be good as Mum has put on weight which she needed to.
She takes part in the regular entertainment events in the common area - this is quite a (welcome) surprise to me, the first time I've seen her dancing and singing in a very long time.
My father (93) visits 4/5 times a week and he is looked after as if he were a resident too, including a meal sometimes which is a great comfort to us.
All things considered, we are very satisfied with the care she is receiving.

My husband came into full-time care in August 2023. My first reaction on being told he was coming to this care home - he was not going there - how wrong I was. The home is light, warm and clean. The staff are wonderful, and the care and instant extra care are first-class. My husband has loved staying
in your home, and I can't say enough about the kindness and care given. I have a journey on a train and bus each visit unless my family bring me, but I would not change a thing. The catering, cleaning and laundry are beautiful.

Called with an emergency of her son being admitted to hospital for a cancer operation. I contacted the manager who immediately arranged for an assessment visit to my friend's home address. This was followed by my friend's admission to the home the following day. This relieved the stress my friend's
son was experiencing having been left to sort out a home by himself. I cannot stress how beneficial the manager's help and actions were to the family. I have visited the home today and am extremely impressed by the accommodation.

My mum-in-law came to live at Priority Care just a few months ago but they were the best months she has had since her illness progressed. Through the home and their wonderful staff, she learnt to live and have fun again. Unfortunately, her illness became worse and she sadly passed away at the home.
Myself and all my family were with her and were actually able to stay at the home with her during her last days. The care my mum-in-law and us, as a family, got from the staff over those days was amazing. They cared not only for my mum-in-law but also us as a family while we were going through such a sad difficult time.
Thank you, you amazing people.

On visiting today (a warm day) I was met with a cold water jug in the entrance hall for visitors - most welcome.
My sister was up, clean and dressed appropriately. Staff were friendly and informative and the management team, accessible. When I went up to her room, it was clean and, above all, contained
familiar objects tastefully arranged as she would have loved them. Thank you.

Not been here long. Nice, clean and airy place. The staff are very pleasant and can't do enough. Communication with residents is needed. Resident slow in communication, just needs a little more time to respond. Sometimes difficult to understand, so more time needs to be given.

My mother was taken to Priority Care Home following a stay in hospital. When she was admitted, Covid regulations were in place so I am unable to comment on the whole facilities. Despite this, the carers have been extremely friendly, courteous and caring both towards her and myself. All medical, care
and support information is passed on to me which is very much appreciated. My mother tells me that they are kind to her and she is happy. This is music to my ears.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.601)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.601) out of 10 for Priority Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 29 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 26 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.601 for Priority Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (273 Excellents x 5) + (47 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) + (17 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 348 Ratings = 4.601
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Priority Care Home is based on 26 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 37 registered maximum number of service users is 7.4, which has been reached with 26 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
