We visited Sandmere for a birthday celebration for a resident. We didn't see any residents rooms or experience the normal meals. However, we were warmly welcomed on arrival, the staff we saw were friendly and helpful, the home was impeccably clean and well-presented. Overall, a very pleasant environment. The resident seemed very happy with his stay. We were impressed to hear how the home provides a birthday cake of the residents choice, and about how they organised activities to suit the residents. Overall, very impressed.

From the first contact with the home, to moving her in and then to caring for her in her last few days, everyone was so kind and understanding. They showed great empathy and patience and kept me informed....
