Our family are really happy with Sandmere: the care Dad receives is brilliant and warm, the home feels like a home and is finished to a great standard.
I love sitting on the patio with dad looking at the garden having a cup of tea. I also love being able to book to eat meals with him as eating together is important, today we had a birthday lunch for dad in their private dinning room which felt very special.

I looked at a number of care homes in the area and am very pleased that we picked Sandmere

I cannot fault the care I received in the 3 weeks of respite I've even here.
I have learnt a lot about how special the people are that do this work.

Also, the food here is excellent. If I need care again I wouldn't hesitate to come here again.

We have found the staff at Sandmere to be very friendly and helpful and they try extremely hard to meet all of Dad's wishes. They hare been proactive regarding his health issues and have secured tests and treatment that have improved his quality of life and wellbeing.
The room is always comfortable and warm and the facilities are lovely. The staff all try very hard to facilitate Dad's hobbies in the garden area which he takes great pleasure in.

Communication with all the team has been very accessible so far.

The care my mum is receiving is absolutely phenomenal and I could not be happier.
I never thought I would have to place my mum in a nursing home and after a lot of emotions and feeling very guilty it had to be done.

My mum is settling well and the staff are professional and also friendly.

My cousin was cared for by the staff at Sandmere Care Home for a short while before her death. From the first contact with the home, to moving her in and then to caring for her in her last few days, everyone was so kind and understanding. They showed great empathy and patience and kept me informed. They also accommodated numerous visitors and when she was on her own, sat with her themselves. Thank you.
