The home is well managed with lovely and caring staff that looked after us, especially during the Covid pandemic. It's a newly built home with the necessary facilities to make life easier for us residents.

I am extremely impressed with the care that my father, who sadly recently passed away, was given. The staff are all very caring, dedicated people, who looked after my late father excellently. Nurses, carers, domestic staff, catering, activity staff and receptionists - all amazing people.

My mum went into this care home in late September of 2019 after breaking her foot and suffering from dementia. She was welcomed into the home and has been extremely well looked after. All the members of staff are very courteous and approachable and are always happy and willing to discuss mum and how
she is at any given time. Sadly when lockdown came into force in March of 2020, this home along with all the others had to suspend visits. However, during this time, they have gone what I regard as the extra mile by organising video calls, and as the situation has relaxed slightly, we have been granted garden visits which have been a godsend. Throughout this time, the home has kept me up to speed with all of their procedures and policies relating to COVID, and have made me aware of their forward plans. I've also been sent photos of mum enjoying organised events for residents, and the morale of the residents and relatives has always been ke pt at the forefront. The home is lovely inside and out.

Mum has been here since September 2019 and she has settled really well. The staff are friendly and approachable if you need to ask about anything your relative. They have done an outstanding job during this pandemic situation. We have had video calls with Mum due to the lockdown and no visiting and
she has enjoyed these as much as we have. Our family has been informed of policies and procedures that are in place due to COVID 19 and we have recently been lucky to have a few garden visits - weather permitting- which have cheered us all up greatly whilst following the guidelines.
The home itself is very clean and tidy and the rooms are nicely furnished to which the resident can add their own personal touches. Mum seems to enjoy the meals she has there.

Missing Wedding ring reported and no further update. New clothes missing and old clothes (not residents) stuffed into drawers in the room. Standards of cleanliness noticeably changed in the last few months. Reception often empty. Difficult to see members of staff with any issues. Despite requesting
a haircut weeks ago not appeared to be done. Never the same staff on duty during visits.

For approximately eight months my father has been a resident in Seacroft Green. He is totally dependent on the staff for his care. They carry out their responsibilities with warmth, good humour and kindness and his mood brightens and lifts in their presence. As his family, we are grateful that at 95
years old with dementia he has comfort and dignity.

Mum entered Seacroft Green in March 2019 and has never been happy, fearing she is trapped. Her medical condition is serious and imposes severe limitations on her mobility and hence, activities. Therefore, all she has is her room, the food, the staff and the care provided. She is unhappy with the food,
she finds the bed uncomfortable and does not benefit from the social space and activities.
The only aspect she does like and appreciate are her carers and nursing staff, who are kind and friendly.

The careworkers have cared for my mum for the last 6 months. They are always friendly and polite to all of us. The nursing staff are always willing to discuss issues/concerns when questioned.
I can't comment on food as mum arrived with very little appetite but the staff always offer alternatives when
they can.

My brother has complex care needs following a cardiac arrest. He is receiving good care, given in a friendly manner. The facilities are particularly good.
My brother is encouraged to partake in various activities and services (ie table tennis, music events and other one-off events).

The Green is a lovely welcoming place. My mum is very settled here and I'm happy the care staff do a great job and know what my mum likes and doesn’t like.
If my mum is happy then we are happy.
Great service, lovely caring staff.
Anything my mum needs or requests, it’s no issue.
She has a beautiful
room that she can get to the garden from which makes it feel more homely for her.

There is plenty of activities for the residents to get involved with and I love the fact everyone (including cleaners/maintenance/kitchen staff/managers) have got to know my nanna personally.

Seacroft Green Care Centre is not like a nursing home, it has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, a real home from home. Dad has been a resident since it opened in February 2017, he took a while to adjust to the surroundings, he is well looked after by the carers and staff, he is quite a character.
The activities staff, encourage him to engage in exercises such as ping pong, ball games, he also enjoys the musical entertainment, visits from the Royal British Legion and guide dogs. He has his moments where he can be quite challenging (as he suffers from Alzheimer's and vascular dementia) but the staff soon have him laughing. He is happy and content. He has a spacious and colourful room, the laundry service is very efficient. As a relative I have the full support of the management team who are always there to listen and immediately deal with any concerns. This has become my second home, as I am here visiting my dad every day, I am always made to feel welcome.

Due to Dad's needs increasing, I had to move him from a residential to a care home with nursing. I was very apprehensive about moving him to a new home, as he had settled where he was. Due to his dementia, any change particularly as huge as a move can be very unsettling. Although it took a few weeks,
Dad did settle and clearly has a good rapport with his regular carers, nurses and 1:1. It is a credit to the level of care and attention that they have given him that his move has been a success. I can leave him after a visit knowing he is in a safe place and cared for.

I found the management (in particular) but also staff to be very understanding, caring and personal centred in their approach to residents and family. The home alluded a strong ethos of professionalism, coupled with practical approaches to all issues and concerns.

I like living here, it's excellent. I don't feel isolated like I did at the hospital, it feels like home. I like having my own room and watching what I want on the television!

Our mother has been a resident for over 3 years and has been cared for very well. Slightly unsettled when moved from The Grange to the New Green Centre but settled down quite soon after and has been very comfortable since.

Mum has been at Seacroft Green since Christmas. The staff that look after her are very caring, which is a great comfort to us that such a place exists for her to spend her final years. We always get a warm welcome and any question are dealt with quickly. We feel she is safe there. It is more like a
hotel than a nursing home. In fact, initially Mum thought she was in a hotel and asked where my room was!

Caring professional staff throughout the nursing home. Modern building and facilities. Had peace of mind that my father had excellent care throughout his 14-month stay, right up to his death in December 2018.
Senior managers need to be more visible on a day to day basis.
