I stayed at The Grange after s fall at home i found it clean good food snd staff very friendly and attentive nothing was too much i was sorry to leave after 2 weeks would recommend it to anyone I left my door open every now. It was clean and tidy in the brought you ice pops to help cool you down now many came for meals as they prefer to stay in their rooms large tv lounge but not many uses it
Did not do my mental health any good. More like an old peoples home. Food not good. No nutritional value whatsoever. No vegetarian menu. Some staff were very helpful but for the majority it was a case of turning up and getting paid. Would I recommend The Grange, in a word no.
All staf wear brill you couldint aske for nicer staf. All staf wear verry nice they couldint do a enoufe four you food lovely.
My Father received excellent respite care here whilst staying for 8 days recovering from a hip operation. The staff looked after him well and made him feel welcome. The staff supported him with basic remobilisation and were responsive to his requests. The food was also good.
My mother has recently been looked after at The Grange and the standard of care has been consistently high. The staff are attentive, respectful, and clearly dedicated to their residents' wellbeing. The home is clean, well-organised, and creates a calm environment with amazing homecooked food. We always felt informed and involved in Mum's care.
Found the staff difficult to contact and communicate with, so my husband's personal hygiene needs were inadequate. Food needs attention. Social interaction non-existent.
Warm, clean home. Friendly, helpful staff, very kind. Food good, snacks plentiful.
I am the sister of a patient called Sue who was in The Grange. I highly recommend this place, it was very professional, staff were very helpful, polite and caring. Went above and beyond. Food was home-cooked and very nice. The Grange is very clean and if you have any issues they were dealt with quickly.
Very good at all times.
I arrived from hospital quite disoriented but was soon put at ease by the lovely staff who have been very diligent in the way they have looked after me, both day and night, particularly as I have bladder problems and need to pee on a regular basis. So all in all my stay has been a very pleasant one.
Every member of staff was kind and helpful, no matter whether during the day - helped to the dining area, or during the night if I needed to go to the lavatory, there was always someone to assist. They were all respectful of my person, but could laugh and joke when appropriate.
My experience at The Grange is that the staff are polite and helpful. Mary has improved while she has been here. I would like to thank the home and staff for what they have done.
I have had a very good experience whilst at The Grange. All staff have been kind towards me and helpful at all times.
My stay at The Grange was very professionally handled and the staff were caring and considerate. In the circumstances when I was not able to walk the staff could not have been more helpful. I would have nothing but praise for everyone concerned.
Husband spent 10 days at The Grange after having a stroke. The care was excellant. Staff were very efficient and friendly. I would not hesitate to spend time here if the occasion arose.
Staff at The Grange must be the best we have ever experienced (in any service industry!) All so positive, helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to visit. Thank you!
Staff are fantastic and under valued by management and under paid!
Can't fault anyone or anything. Been very happy hear.
Everyone has been so kind and helped me to keep my dignity in very difficult situations. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and they have been keeping my spirits up by reassuring me that I'm doing well, two ladies in particular have made sure I get exercise and have encourage me to keep going when its been difficult I will be ever grateful for all the help from everyone. The lady who cooks the meals has always made sure I'm happy with my meals and always makes time to have a little natter with me. Thank you everyone.
The senior carers were particularly good, Claire especially. The cook took particular attention to residents needs and her food was very good - excellent corned beef hash! Mother-in-law didn't like carers talking over her in a language other than English, she found it quite distressing.
