On observation, it is my opinion that meals are not adequate for the age of the residents. A lot of the meals include waffles, wedges, pasta and fish fingers. (This menu is more suitable for children). More traditional English food should be served more often sausage with mashed potatoes, veggies...
On observation, it is my opinion that meals are not adequate for the age of the residents. A lot of the meals include waffles, wedges, pasta and fish fingers. (This menu is more suitable for children). More traditional English food should be served more often sausage with mashed potatoes, veggies and gravy, meat and veggie pies and peas (steak), fish and chips (not frozen cheap chips), Rice pudding, Crumble with custard, ice cream etc. My father cannot live off sandwiches alone. Overall the staff are very attentive, friendly and always willing to help. I hope my suggestions are taken in a positive manner and seen as an opportunity for improvement.
My mum has really settled well. She is getting involved with lots of activities. The staff are very attentive and caring. This was the last home to be considered for Mum, but I can safely say it has been a great decision for my family. Mum is happy, safe and cared for.
