Wow! This is such a wonderful place. Lovely environment - made extra special as a result of the caring + friendly staff. This really feels like the staff want residents to make this their home. i hope that if/when I'm ready for/need this level of care that there's a place for me. Thank you all.

This is a lovely safe place for your loved ones to be looked after. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I am so glad I moved my husband here after being at another home. My hope is that more activities could be set up for residents on the dementia corridors- perhaps some very simple physical activity. The gardens are lovely and well used.

Uplands Manor has provided respite care for my 94-year-old friend for the past 2 months. Throughout her stay the staff have provided excellent care and have always been friendly and supportive. The purpose-built facility provides a beautiful environment, enabling her to have a happy, relaxed stay during which she has recovered her health and strength both physically and mentally. Thank you.

My Mother Margaret arrived in February this year. She was very nervous as were we because she had never been in a care home. From the onset she was treated with respect and dignity from all the staff. The facilities, room, food, entertainment have been excellent. The medical care has been excellent and as a family it's reassuring to know she is looked after. I cannot recommend Upland Manor and its staff highly enough.

We have been delighted with the care and kindness shown to mum in her first six weeks at Upland Manor Care Home. Everyone, has made such efforts to get to know mum, and her family, and she has settled down well. The rooms are really comfortable and the gardens are a special feature and easily accessible. Thankyou, to all of you, for making the move for mum so much easier,

My father stayed at Uplands Manor carehome for 2 weeks respite, and we were so impressed. The staff were kind, attentive, and kept us well informed. The home was clean and had a warm atmosphere. We felt he was in excellent hands, and were so grateful for the care he received. I highly recommend it. I'm sure before to long he will become a resident.

My nanna has dementia and had a few falls before coming to live at Upland Manor. We (our family) all feel that she's improved quite a lot since she came here, which is amazing to see. I think it's due to the quality of care she's receiving here - having such friendly, caring, professional and competent nurses on hand 24/7 to check on her and see to her needs is making a massive difference. The carers are all so lovely and always make us feel welcome when we visit. The home is very clean and modern - it's a lovely environment, and we like sitting in the garden too. Amazing quality of care - thank you!

Mum moved in early April from another local care home. Several residents also moved over and they have all been very happy. Cannot fault the happy team, the great food, the personal help, the great beds/rooms. Now the dementia floor has officially opened, new routines will be soon implemented and the final bits n pieces will settle into place. Thank you to all the staff. From housekeeping getting all clothes washed and returned next day, hospitality making sure mum enjoys her food with the occasional song from Mat, carers ensuring mum cared for with a smile, team leaders being accurate and helpful, well-being going the extra mile, reception/admin always being helpful and smiley on arrival and Michalea even sitting on reception for the day when staff not available. Everyone mucks in. Thank you.

My father in law was admitted in April, as a family we have been blown away, Colin is on a blended diet, and staff have gone up and beyond, Colin was in hospital for 9 weeks, 7 of them he didn't eat. As they couldn't meet his needs. Colin had only been here a week and the home had picked up that he was on Thickener which he shouldn't have been. Staff are amazing, kind and caring couldn't ask for more.

My first impression of Upland Manor was amazement. Bright, airy and eyecatching - Not one single member of the team ignored our presence - we were greeted with a smile and a hello - very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble - the reception area is a beautiful hub to take time out, have a coffee and a breather. Visitors are taken care of as much as the residents. The bedrooms are styled and designed to perfection - its a beautiful place with beautiful attentive people. The care is outstanding - the staff are appreciated and it shows.

We're so grateful to have found Upland Manor Care Home for my mother-in-law. From the moment she arrived, the team made her feel genuinely welcome and supported, which made a huge difference during what could have been a very difficult transition.
The staff are kind, patient, and clearly dedicated to the residents' wellbeing. They've taken the time to get to know her as a person - her preferences, her routines, and the little things that help her feel comfortable and at home. It's reassuring to see her treated with such dignity and warmth.
The home itself is clean, , and thoughtfully maintained, with a lovely atmosphere that feels more like a home than a facility. There are always activities and opportunities for residents to stay engaged, which we really appreciate.

Most importantly, we've already noticed a positive change in her mood and overall wellbeing. Knowing she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by compassionate people gives our whole family peace of mind.

Uplands Manor is a fabulous home, it's decorated to the standard of a 5* hotel, whilst still having a warm & welcoming feel.
The staff are exceptionally professional & friendly, nothing is too much trouble & they have all made my mum feel comfortable, safe & happy.
They encourage independent living and offer lots of social activities to encourage engagement which has kept mum busy & entertained. She always has a story to tell us. My Mum went to Uplands manor for two weeks respite & is now a permanent happy resident.
We could not be happier that she is settled, safe & enjoying her best life.
I can't recommend this care home highly enough & feel very lucky to have found this amazing home.

Hello, I am Abbie. I am the deputy manager of Upland Manor. I started within the company back in 2020 as a housekeeper and soon realised that I had a passion for care. I then progressed to carer, team leader and went on to do my nursing degree. I have been qualified for nearly two years, and before Upland Manor, I worked in one of our sister homes, Ashland's Manor, where I developed my skills as a nurse and also continued to learn about managerial roles.

I am so excited to now be the Deputy Manager of Upland Manor alongside Michaela.

As a Deputy Manager, my passion for care is at the heart of everything I do. I believe that exceptional care begins with a strong, motivated team - and I strive to lead by example, inspiring those around me to always put the needs and dignity of individuals first. I take pride in developing a positive, supportive environment where staff feel empowered, valued and confident in delivering high-quality care.
