All staff and management are approachable at wood-hill lodge , Bose the manager her door is always open for anything regarding my dad's care. Since July 2025 my dad has been rehabilitated at Woodhill lodge because his 3 month stay in the hospital from a brain infection put him in a really vulnerable position.
Thank you for your feedback and your kind words. We're delighted to hear that you and your dad have felt supported during his rehabilitation. Your feedback means a great deal to our team, and we wish your dad continued progress in his recovery.

My friend came to the facility at the end of April. He was in a desperate situation after many years of alcohol abuse. He had lost all his friends, was alienated from family members, was neglecting himself and his home and was on the point of being evicted owing to rent arrears. We are amazed (and very grateful) that while at the facility he has stopped drinking, is eating much better than before he came here and has generally been very well cared for. Hopefully this will be the start of a better life for him after many years of decline! Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your friend's journey. We are truly touched by your feedback.

Lovely care home really sorted my friend out mentally. The reception has always been the best part, and I always felt so welcome and warm from the receptionist; she should have a promotion!!
Thank you very much for your feedback, we are pleased that you feel welcome in our service.
My Dad become a resident in July 2025 due a lengthy stay across 3 hospitals. This left him unable to take care of himself at home so was placed at Wood Hill Lodge on an assessment bed and then on a more permanent basis. My Dad was made welcome straight away by staff members, had one to one to help him settle in. Staff & nurses are approachable, will answer any questions or queries you have and all staff say hello when they see you in the building. Dad does need support in washing & other personal care, medication etc but the support staff has rehabilitated him back to just about his normal self after the hospital left him incontinent & unable to feed & dress himself. He is now continent & can feed himself well. Dad has gained weight due to balanced meals throughout the day, he enjoys all food & plenty of snacks & drinks in between. There are plenty of onsite activities to keep Dad engaged when he chooses to take part. The manager Bose is also very approachable, her door is always open.
Thank you so very much for sharing your experience, this means a lot to us, we are keen to improving our services and helping our client and their families to achieve best outcomes.
It is such a weight off our minds knowing that mum is being cared for and looked after so kindly by all the staff at Woodhilll Lodge. We also feel supported by the team who are always on hand when we call or visit. We feel fully informed about mum's care both when things are going well and when issues arise. It is also wonderful to see mum participating in the variety of activities offered. She couldn't be in better hands.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. Your feedback means a lot to us and help us to improve our services.
My father has been a resident at Wood Hill Lodge for almost 10 years. We have seen many changes of management and the current manager is by far the most responsive communication with relatives is improving. The staff are always kind, caring and treat everyone with respect. The entrance to the home has been refurnished yet the bedroom and lounge need some attention. Our family remain grateful to all the staff on Hollingworth who care for our dad. They are the best assets of Woodhill.
My husband has been in Woodhill Lodge nearly 1 year. I must say things have improved since he first came. He wouldn't participate in activities at first he does now which has made me happier. There does seem more things to do. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We're really pleased to hear that your husband has settled in well and is now enjoying the activities. It's wonderful to know that the improvements we've made are having a positive impact for both of you. Your kind words mean a lot to...
My mum has been a resident at Woodhill Lodge for seven years, with health care needs that have been challenging at times. The staff have looked after her superbly, with kindness and dedication. They have welcomed us like friends and been partners with us in always doing the very best for my mum, treating her with as much love and respect as if she was one of their family. At any point of change, decision making or health concern, the staff have always kept us fully informed, sought our views and respected our thoughts. They also regularly seek feedback and consistently focus on improvement. Knowing how conscientious and caring the staff are has given us a real peace of mind. I feel lucky that my mum was cared for by Woodhill Lodge's staff- she has been in the care of some very special people and I will always be grateful for all they did for her and for me. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. It has been our privilege to care for your mum over the past seven years, and we are truly touched by your words. The trust you and your family placed in the staff and Management team at Woodhill Lodge means a great deal, and we are delighted...
My mother in law has been in Wood Hill Lodge for over five years. During this time the staff and management have been super supportive to both my mother in law and to us as a family. It is a safe and friendly environment we feel the team around her are part of our extended family - thank you!
My father has been in this home for seven years now. There have been many changes of staff and management, apart from his number one carer. I cannot fault the care my dad receives from management down the scale, he's given nothing but respect, patience, and love. As a family we feel privileged to be a part of Wood Hill Lodge. We know he wouldn't receive this level of professionalism and care anywhere else and are so lucky he is a resident.
Staff work diligently and we are glad you feel there is effective communication, quality care, and that your father is looked after. Our residents and their family is our number one priority.
