Wood Hill Lodge is a lovely place! The carers are thoughtful and kind as are the nursing staff. Over the last two months, the activity manager has done a wonderful job. The office staff are so pleasant and helpful, as is the manager. My stepfather likes living here, calls it home and wants to stay! The only drawback is a lack of garden/space to sit etc.
Caring for my father, particularly in these difficult times, is a challenge. The staff of Wood Hill Lodge have risen to the challenge at all levels and the care and dedication they provide is excellent. I know he is safe and well looked after.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We will be sure to share your comments with our team.
My son is a resident at Woodhill Lodge and has been since February 2019. The staff are wonderful, and my son's care has been nothing short of excellent. The recent outbreak of Coronovirous must have been extremely difficult for all the staff, but I have nothing but praise for the manager and all her staff in keeping the family informed of the ongoing situation. I give my grateful thanks to them all; for caring for my son.
Thank you very much for your very kind words. We will be sure to share with our team!

" I really enjoy working at Woodhill Lodge. I am proud of the staff and the work they are doing with the residents. We are person-centred here at Woodhill Lodge and strive every day to ensure quality care is delivered with compassion "

Hello, my name is Bogdan. I am a dedicated nurse with over 12 years of experience working in care home settings, where I focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Throughout my career, I have held a range of roles, including leadership positions such as Deputy Clinical Manager and Registered General Manager. These roles have allowed me to develop strong skills in team leadership, clinical oversight, and service management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as CQC while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
I have also worked as a palliative care nurse, which has strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, dignified, and holistic care, particularly for individuals with complex and end-of-life needs.
I am passionate about promoting residents’ wellbeing, dignity, and independence, and I take pride in delivering care that is both safe and meaningful. I am highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous professional development and improving the quality of care within the service.
