Every Sensation

My family member has been attending the centre for 18 months now and we are extremely pleased with the care they provide. They have lots of different activities, including hydro so no two days are the same.

They took my son back in to the Centre after a period of illness in hospital and he required medication and they carried out the necessary treatments to keep him well. I was eternally grateful for their support and care for my son.

He is always happy to go with his escort in the morning and claps his hands with pleasure but equally happy to arrive home again. He follows a special diet and the centre manage this and his medication very well.

My daughter has been attending this centre for just under 7 years. I've never had a problem. Staff are friendly, helpful and an integral part of my daughter's health and happiness. I wouldn't put her anywhere else.

I have a 20-year-old son with autism and severe learning difficulties. He has been attending Every Sensation for almost 3 years. The staff and the service provided are of top quality. It would be extremely unfair if the manager is not mentioned here in this review. She is an excellent leader full of dedication, passion, commitment, empathy you name it and she has every quality of a sincere leader leading such a wonderful team of carers who are always doing their utmost for our special adults. The facilities are wonderful. One recent example of the dedication and commitment from the manager is that we wanted our son to start using the hydro pool but no one was sure how he was going to react. As a result, the manager and the staff booked a session on Sunday to try it. I am extremely thankful to each and every staff member. The best day care service locally by miles. Thank you, guys.

It's so nice to be able to let my son go to a place where it is so homely and one big family who care about their clients and knowing they're in such safe hands. They offer all sorts of activities to keep clients from getting bored, they're always on the go. The hydro pool is amazing and he gets to go in weekly which is so important for his physio. The staff and management are all so friendly and supportive. A big weight off my shoulders knowing he is going to a place that cares and he enjoys.

My daughter joined here in September 2021. She is a wonderful and very anxious young lady. The staff listen to me, work with me and my daughter to help reduce her anxieties. They use a bespoke person-centred approach and stick to it, which is crucial. My daughter, like everyone, has a 1-1, not the same all the time as this wouldn’t be good for anyone! These 1-1s are selected carefully due to the needs of my daughter. The staff are just perfect, for instance, everyone was just as excited as I was the other day over something that happened with my daughter there. All staff are caring, treat our loved ones as people in their own right, and value their uniqueness. I highly recommend Every Sensation.

My son attends Every Sensation Day Centre. Since going in October 2021, the staff go above and beyond doing their job. They actually care, their attitude towards the service users is second to none, they are amazing. They're friendly towards visitors and nothing is too much trouble for any of them, even if you have an issue that's unrelated to the centre they will do their very best to help solve the issue. I couldn't wish for a better place to send my son. All the service users are as friendly as the staff. We all have bad days but it never shows in any of the staff, they are all so happy in their work, always pleased to see both service users and parents even if you turn up for a surprise visit. I cannot recommend Every Sensation highly enough. The facilities are just amazing and they have so much more than any other place my son has been in the past. My son loves going for hydrotherapy which he does once a week (he's had no kind of therapy for 13 years since becoming an adult!).

Having used different units in the past, every sensation stands above any other in quality care, cleanliness, lovely friendly atmosphere. All the staff are helpful and motivated which gives a feel-good factor. My opinion is that service users are looked after very professionally and relatives and family are safe in the knowledge that loved ones are superbly looked after.

The only thing I would change is the amount of staff turnover, it's a shame good staff leave just as my child gets to know them.

We feel very welcome and comfortable there. Communication is brilliant and the management are very strong and professional and friendly and approachable. Very, very happy with this service.

Nice location and extremely friendly staff. Nice place and good facilities. Has it's own pool so good for the users. The staff make you feel welcome and the environment is very comfortable. The nice thing also is that the staff have a sense of humour. The place always looks clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone seeking this kind of service.

Amazing facilities with caring, knowledgeable staff. Entrusting the care of someone so vulnerable as my brother is never easy but I have been totally blown away by the treatment and care he has been given. I would not hesitate in recommending to others.

Every Sensation is an excellent facility for profoundly disabled people. My daughter attends five days a week and without this service, we would struggle to manage everyday life and she could have probably ended up in permanent care. Long may it continue.

My daughter enjoys going to Every Sensation 5 days a week. There are different activities each day.

The staff and management are able to talk on any matters. I would recommend Every Sensation for a day centre to everyone.

My daughter has cerebal palsy. She attends Every Sensation twice a week. She looks forward to it as they provide a lot of activities for her: swimming, disco, sensory room. She is very happy to go. I always ask her if she has enjoyed her day and she says yes. The staff are excellent with everyone and they always make you welcome. Also, I receive a monthly magazine telling parents what is going on. Brilliant place, and staff.

Every Sensation is a lovely is a lovely caring place for my daughter who is severely disabled to go and enjoy herself in a relaxing and happy atmosphere.
