Perrins Hall - Day Care

From the moment my husband went to Malvern Day Care he really enjoyed it. It was great as he was a quiet man and didn't need a lot of company. Everyone was so friendly caring and compassionate that my husband looked forward every week to attending. There was a great variety of things to do and to stimulate the people who attended each week. I cannot speak highly enough for the team. Also, the food provided was very good.

My husband enjoys going to Friends of the Elderly. I used to take him in the car and the staff would take him in the wheelchair. He's had two strokes and has Vascular Dementia. The staff were wonderful nothing was too much for them. I have spoken to my husband and asked the questions he really would like to go back but at the moment he has not been very well.

My mum loved attending her time at daycare. From the moment she stepped through the door, everyone was so friendly. It was like home-from-home. The ladies (carers) were so very professional but kind at the same time. Thank you so much for all that you did for her.

My mother has been attending the Lodge in Malvern Day Care rub by Friends of Elderly. U can highly recommend the team here and the excellent standard of care they provide. All the staff are friendly and approachable and supportive above and beyond the call of duty. Mum has undertaken various activities which she thoroughly enjoys and is always treated with dignity and respect.

My mother really enjoys her time at the Day Care centre. Due to her dementia, she can never remember what she has done, but she always says how lovely and kind the staff are.

The experience he had could not have been better! Perfect in every way. Staff went above and beyond, caring, supportive, loving, fun - there are not enough words! We will miss it every day and we can never say thank you enough. Do not ever let this place close!

Day Care facilities were excellent. Although my husband only attended a short time, he really enjoyed it and he is someone who is not easily pleased.

My wife attended day care once and was incredibly happy there all of the staff were helpful to both me and my wife.

My father spent three days a week at the Malvern Day Care. The staff were all lovely, caring, respectful people. We felt very reassured Dad was looked after and kept safe whilst there. Staff also extended their support to my mum who desperately needed respite. Mum felt she could totally trust the staff in every way. I would highly recommend this daycare centre, 10 out of 10 for the management and all the team.

My husband was looked after extremely well, and he really enjoyed the experience and the company.

My husband attended from 2019 until covid lockdown, Christmas 2020. He looked forward to his two days. He was well-fed and cared for. The activities were tailored for him. He was treated with kindness and respect. I felt secure leaving him - I was treated kindly too. Had he not have died, he would have returned and hopefully attended a third day.

My late mother had been going to Friends of the Elderly Day Care for nearly 2 years and enjoyed it very much, the girls who helped us do the most fantastic job, so kind, caring and always welcoming. Mum always came away much brighter than she went in, the girls made her most welcome. I can't thank them enough.

Day care is wonderful and Malvern Day Care do a marvellous job in looking after my husband who suffers from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons. We have been married for 53 years and had never been apart so the move to day care was a very big step for both of us. With the patience and dedication of the team, after six months, I am pleased to say that my husband is now doing a full day and enjoys going. He comes home happy and stimulated so well done Malvern Day Care.

My Dad has been going to the day centre for a couple of months and it has made a real difference. He really enjoys his day with everyone. I cannot praise the ladies highly enough, the level of care is second to none. My Dad is in his 90’s with dementia and speech and hearing difficulties but he really feels a part of everything.
