It was a lovely clean flat when Mum moved in. Very nice staff, helpful and attentive. There was a great deal of assistance with the formality of moving in, sorting our medication, registering with doctors etc.
Friednly residents, they all look after Mum and take an interest which is lovely.
A good
amount of activities to do. She will never be bored or lonely.
Good security, I feel my mother is safe and secure.

I have peace of mind that Mum is being cared for and her needs met.
It has allowed me to be a daughter again and not her main carer. Mum is more social and enjoys activities and chatting to the other residents.

A member of staff went the extra mile in phoning me when my mother was very upset, which led to a video call very kindly offered by the staff member. The staff member thought a video call would help reduce the upset which it certainly did. I was so so thankful and made the staff member's manager aware
of this. I can never fault any of the staff and I know my mum is being cared for and looked after at a very high standard.

I am very happy with all the support and communication that I have received so far. The manager and one member of staff have been helpful and very supportive of me. All the staff here are lovely.

We are very happy with how my father has settled down. He feels that the staff are lovely and helpful. The communication and support he is receiving are second to none.

The Lawns is a fantastic place. The environment is so friendly and welcoming. The staff are always helpful and the residents are friendly and everyone seems very happy. The place is always clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The food is nice. As my friend's representative (as he has no family),
I am always treated very well. My friend has recently needed extra help which he has received with an enormous amount of care and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for the amazing team that work at The Lawns. I always praise it up, as it deserves.

Since I have been here, I have received excellent care. The facilities are very good. The staff are very helpful, and the management also. At the present time, we are in lockdown due to an outbreak of Covid, but this will calm soon, and we will be back to normal.

Having lived at The Lawns for nearly three years, I must say that the care and commitment provided by both care staff and management is exemplary. Although, the ethos at The Lawns is independent living, with care as and when needed, nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, when it comes to
our care and safety. Personally, although my health conditions continue to worsen, my anxiety levels have reduced considerably, due to the reassurance I feel from living here.

We cannot put into words how caring and attentive the staff at The Lawns are. We feel very grateful that Mum is a resident at The Lawns. All through lockdown, they have gone above and beyond to care for Mum and we would highly recommend it.

Can't rate the team at The Lawns highly enough, they are fantastic. Mum is treated with such care and dignity, with lots of humour built in. My mother has been living at The Lawns since April this year. She has been made welcome and the care she receives from all of the staff is exceptional. The professionalism from the manager and her team is second to none and they have gone out of their way in assisting her everyday needs. There are many
activities which she is encouraged to attend and enjoys and this has enabled her to meet and mix with other residents. I cannot recommend the Lawns highly enough and thank them for all they do.

I have worked in the care industry all my working life. I have experience working in both residential and housing care settings. I have been a Care Manager for 20 years, 11 of those years were spent managing a Residential Care home and then moving on to manage The Lawns. I have a Registered Managers Award and Level 4 in Health & Social Care and along with that my National Examining Board in Supervisory Management. My expertise lies with being very much a people person and having the skills to create an environment where people ‘love to live and love to work’. We are extremely proud to have been awarded an overall ‘Outstanding’ with outstanding awards in the Well Led, Caring and Responsive areas of the inspection.
