The Lawns

My mother has been living at The Lawns since April this year. She has been made welcome and the care she receives from all of the staff is exceptional. The professionalism from the manager and her team is second to none and they have gone out of their way in assisting her everyday needs. There are many activities which she is encouraged to attend and enjoys and this has enabled her to meet and mix with other residents. I cannot recommend the Lawns highly enough and thank them for all they do.

I cannot praise the care and set up at The Lawns highly enough. My 93-year-old mother has literally had a new lease of life having been lucky enough to move there. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff, and all her needs are taken care of with kindness and dignity. It is wonderful that she is happy again.

Mum recently moved to The Lawns, the staff have been welcoming since day one. Mum has a new lease of life enjoying the activities and mixing with other residents. She has her lunch cooked daily. It is such a relief to her family knowing she is being looked after so well.

The Lawns is always a friendly, happy, clean, safe and welcoming environment. One of the best homes in Great Yarmouth and Gorleston. All staff are all of a high calibre and serve to do their best for the residents. This is the perfect place for my Grandad to live in. It would be nice to see the staff's hard work recognised more though. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Lawns. I would like to suggest that hall lights are turned off in the day as this is a waste of electricity and for the radiators to be able to be turned off in the summer as temperatures are unbearable!

Since my brother moved into The Lawns last year he is happy and more confident. He mixes with the residents for lovely dinners and activities which also has helped with his mobility. The flats are lovely, well equipped with a fabulous wet room which enables him to shower himself which he could not do before. Knowing he is being cared for 24 hours a day and so well is such a relief for myself and the family. I cannot praise the Manager and staff enough; they are so caring and nothing is too much trouble.

The individual living arrangements enable residents to have privacy when they wish. There are regular activities. The Lawns arrange prescriptions and dispense medications. My brother enjoys the meals and is thriving on the regular assistance received from cheerful staff. The manager should be highly praised for the way this home is managed.

The concept of The Lawns is brilliant. It provides facilities for independence, semi independence and full care. It is well maintained and a welcoming environment. The staff are professional but friendly and relaxed with residents and visitors. There are always activities going on both indoors and outdoors. The garden with its colourful planters is charming. The residents always look happy and involved, saying hello to visitors and waving to each other. Importantly the staff are local and often know where the residents have lived and can share past experiences.

The activities are the best but lacking support from some of the residents mainly from lack of mobility.

My mother was admitted in April 2017 and has settled in very well. I cannot praise the staff and facilities highly enough. They are friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. The flat my mother has is modern and well equipped for her needs. It is always kept clean and tidy.

The Lawns gives excellent care to its residents there. They are also very caring and have time for all the residents no matter how small the problems, they take their time to talk to the resident and are very patient with them. I am very happy for my mother to be in their care.

My Mum and Dad have been in The Lawns for two years now. I am truly grateful for the kindness and caring they get. They are well looked after, washed every day, clean clothes on. If they are wet they change them straight away. No food is better, a wide choice to choose. So lucky they are in there as looked after so well and so kind to every person in there. I go every day to see them and someone is always around if you need them. It's like one big family, so clean and kind. I could not wish for anything more. A beautiful and loving caring place to be in. Thank you The Lawns.
