Yes, I am so happy living here. Everything is so perfect, well looked after and always have a good chat and a laugh and the staff are so helpful, no matter what you ask and there is always a lovely smile which makes me feel good.
Laburnum is always so clean and tidy.
I just don't know what else I
can say but I am so grateful to be able to spend my time here, which is marvellous for me.

Sarah Manners

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2015

I have worked at Laburnum Grove since 2015, starting as a Team Leader. I have a Level 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care and children and young people’s services. I experienced different opportunities and progressed to a Deputy Manager position in 2021. In 2023, with the support of Norse Care, I became Acting Manager of Laburnum Grove. This job became permanent in February 2025 following the retirement of our previous Registered Manager. Before working at Laburnum Grove, I supported adults with learning and physical disabilities.


In 2021, I received a good practice recognition for a care leader in the Norfolk Care Awards. I was also nominated for an award in the Housing with Care Awards 2023.


I love working at Laburnum Grove and am very passionate about individuals receiving care tailored to them and having full autonomy over the decisions they make. I am a firm believer in supporting the staff team to ensure they are motivated and equipped to provide outstanding care to our tenants.


The team at Laburnum Grove are extremely proud to be rated 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission and is dedicated to maintaining this rating.
