Latte Fun and a 99: Ice cream Edition of Regular Coffee Morning

Staff and residents at Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home in Stamford Bridge invited neighbours and friends from the local community to a "cool" new twist on their free weekly community café.

Taking place every last Monday of the month from 10.30am – 12pm, the usual gathering, received a special upgrade with a visit from a classic ice cream van. Residents and guests will have the chance to meet and chat over tea, coffee, and homemade cakes, with this month’s edition having the added treat of a fresh ice cream to enjoy in the sunshine. Guests also had the chance to take a tour of the home and ask any questions they might have about care.

One resident at the home, Brian, shared their excitement: “There is nothing quite like the sound of an ice cream van to bring back happy memories. It’s such a treat to share a flake and a chat with new faces from the community—it really makes the morning feel like a party!”

General Manager of the home, Emma Smith, said: “Our Community Coffee Morning allows individuals from the local area to meet and connect with one another regularly. It’s a great chance to share stories and make new friends.
