Building Community at Oaktree Court

As we wrap up a busy and rewarding April, we’ve been reflecting on some wonderful moments within the Oaktree Court community ??

We’re incredibly proud to support our local community. This month, Sarah, our Quality & Development Lead, visited a local Waitrose store to deliver Dementia Friendly Training. Team members who took part will receive their Dementia Friends badges—an important step towards creating a more understanding and supportive environment for people living with dementia. It’s a great example of how small actions can make a big difference and reflects the compassion and care at the heart of what we do.

Back at Oaktree Court, we also enjoyed a truly special day with Reminiscence Learning. The session was filled with smiles, laughter, and the sharing of treasured memories. It was wonderful to see residents so engaged and uplifted—moments like these highlight just how important it is to reconnect with the past while creating joy in the present.
