Braywood Gardens Celebrates VE Day

Residents, families, and staff at Braywood Gardens Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, came together on 8th May 2026 to celebrate VE Day with a party filled with music, laughter, and community.

The home was decorated for the occasion as residents enjoyed live entertainment from a singer, themed refreshments, and a variety of VE Day-inspired crafts created by both residents and staff. Families joined in the celebrations, making the event a truly special occasion for everyone involved.

Heather, Home Manager at Braywood Gardens, said: “VE Day celebrations were exceptional. Residents and staff made the day special by creating themed crafts and enjoying live music, refreshments, and a good sing-along together.”
