Frank Foster House Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, is proudly celebrating its residents aged 100 and above through the launch of its special “100 Club” initiative.

The initiative has been created to recognise the incredible life achievements, wisdom, and contributions of residents who have reached the remarkable milestone of 100 years and beyond. Residents who are part of the 100 Club will be acknowledged and celebrated within the home.

The project has been supported by Nicolas and the home’s Dementia Champions, who worked together to ensure residents feel valued and celebrated for their extraordinary life experiences.

A resident at Frank Foster House, Beatrice, shared her excitement about the initiative, saying: “I love the idea and I feel famous.”

The 100 Club reflects Frank Foster House’s ongoing commitment to person-centred care by creating meaningful opportunities for residents to feel recognised, socially connected, and engaged within the home community.

The initiative also highlights the importance of celebrating residents’ stories, experiences, and personal histories while encouraging positive wellbeing and companionship among residents, families, and staff.

Frank Foster House continues to develop creative and inclusive initiatives that honour residents and celebrate the unique individuals who make up the home’s community.
