RESIDENTS AT LOCAL CARE HOME LEND THEIR EARS TO LIVE JAZZ MUSIC PERFOMANCE

Residents and guests at Chater Lodge care home in Ketton enjoyed a night of grins with a live Jazz concert performance that took place at the home. Local Gabriella performed a selection of summertime sounds in the communal area of the home.

Residents joined in with the singing, and clapped along as the band performed their finale song “Paria piu piano.” Speck softly my love the theme music from The Godfather

General Manager, Zoe Postgate said, “Our residents and guests had a wonderful day singing along with the wonderful performer. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Chater Lodge as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites!”

One resident said “I haven’t heard some of these songs in many years. The classics never go out of style!”
