I write in praise of Mark, Hannah, Carol, Linda & Sue's care of my Mum Breda. They create a dementia oasis which is like a home from home for Mum. Better than home in fact because here she is well fed, stimulated with conversation & genuinely happy. Despite mid-stage dementia she is far more conversant and with-it after a day at the Secret Garden and refers to everybody there as her friend. What greater satisfaction and reward can there be for the loved ones?

After 2 hours visiting my long standing friend Sheila, I was saddened to see her as she was but amazed at the facilities and staff at the day care centre. Although Sheila found most things difficult to understand or carry out, the staff were so encouraging and included her the best they could. The atmosphere was amazing and I can't praise the staff enough. Thank you for doing the best you possibly can for my lovely friend.

The Secret Garden is a very friendly day centre to go to. I felt very welcome here and there was always a conversation going on which you could be included in. the staff are very welcoming and caring. The staff treat the visitors in such a friendly manner they love coming back for another day. I hope this place never fails

I have attended the 10 year anniversary of the secret garden today with my father, may I say what a great day it has been. From the entertainment and the food has been exceptional, how the staff look after Dad and the other residents is very caring and considerate these sessions certainly make a great difference to Dads wellbeing as well I am sure they do to everyone else that attend. May a say a big Thank you to Mark and the team. Here's to another 10 years and beyond!!

My Mum has been coming on a Monday to the Secret Garden for nearly a year now. I can honestly say it's been the best thing for her. She loves coming and chatting to everyone. She enjoys all the activities and benefits from them so much. The staff are all so caring and lovely. And she enjoys a delicious meal. Would definitely recommend the day care centre.

My Mother comes alive again with the kindness, energy and professionalism of every single member of staff who come into contact with her.

The Secret Garden Day Care Hub is a warm and friendly place with a kind and dedicated staff. My husband was made so welcome and enjoyed his days at the Hub. He was treated with respect and dignity by a caring staff and enjoyed all the various activities they arranged. The facilities were excellent in every way and in a lovely environment. As a carer I felt very supported too and the staff were always available to help or talk through any issues. I felt welcome to stay for tea/coffee and be part of the community

My parents have recently started attending The Secret Garden. I cannot thank the team enough from the onboarding part at first to now the have settled I cannot thank everyone enough. My parents really enjoy going and it has given me reassurance that they are safe and well looked after enabling me to carry out my work commitments. Staff have great interactions and really want to support everyone and give them an enjoyable visit. It's a really hard job and they are kind, caring and keep smiling !

I will start with two quotations, one from my husband who attends Secret Garden, "It is the place where I feel the safest" and one from our grandson on pick-up, "I have never seen Poppa so happy." This is a testament to the caring staff, who recognise the individuality of each person, each being treated with dignity. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a sense of fun, a diverse range of activities and a "jolly good lunch!"

we would like to say a heartfelt thankyou to all the staff at the day centre for the kindness, compassion, and dedication you show him every wednesday. The care and support you provide to my father n law has been exceptional, and it gives our family peace of mind to see a smile on John's face. Here's to many more wednesdays at the day centre. My mum who has dementia has been attending The Secret Garden for the last few months until Mum needed to go into a care home. All the staff at the Secret Garden (both male & female) have been absolutely wonderful, I cannot sing their praises enough. They are so kind & caring and very helpful. I cannot recommend the Secret Garden enough! They were so lovely with my mum, wish I had found them earlier! A big thank you to all the staff.

Sian had attentive care during her time, The home adjusted her table at meal times as she requested. Her room was very suitable.

Thank you for taking such great care of my sister-in-law by allowing her into the Secret Garden whilst she had her respite care with a care home for 3 weeks. We could go on holiday knowing she was going to have fun, fab, cheery company and lots of activities and be safe. The building and garden are just perfect as she loves being outdoors and is game for any quiz and activity. Thank you always for enchaing her already great zest for life despite her disabilities.

I thoroughly enjoyed the crosswords activity, and puzzles, run by Mark and Annie. Wilson was very helpful. Took a few days to find the right people to sit with at meals.

Mum passed in March this year in her room at Bay tree. Fiona, the manager was outstanding in her kindness and compassion as were the staff. Thank you.

When in hospital, was so ill that we were unsure if would pull through. Since being in St Faiths, has improved greatly, seems happier and is eating well very pleased with the care and support.

My Dad was a resident for 8 months and during that time I couldn't fault the care & attention he received. All of the staff, without exception were so kind & attentive to my Dad & also to our family. When my Dad unfortunately passed away in January 2026, he was treated with such respect & professionalism. I knew that I wanted to return to Baytree & feel priveleged to now have become a volunteer at this very special place.

We had a very good experience at St Faith's. Unfortunately my mother was only there for 2 weeks before passing. It was a lovely, spacious, light and airy from for visitors and family. We were offered the option to stay over if we needed. Parking, although tight was fine with the option for parking for up to 6 years on the road outside. The food was good and the only thing I could mention was that our request for soft food like yogurt and custard was slow to get through.

Every thing is very well organised, very helpful and help in every way. Family atmosphere.

Royal Court has wonderfully caring and empathetic staff for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Following her arrival at the beginning of 2025, my aunt quickly felt settled, and, although she cannot now communicate, she appears contented and comfortable. The quality of food is good, and the spacious accommodation is for the most part kept clean and fresh. I have found the management to be proactive in communicating with me if ever there is a decision to be taken about my aunt's medical or dental treatment. All in all, I believe Royal Court to be well managed and I would not want my aunt to be anywhere else.
