My husband has been a resident at Emerson Court for about two months. The standard of care from all staff is very high. They are kind and considerate and strive to meet everyone's individual needs. There are activities on a regular basis each week and a lovely garden with a large outside building, called 'The beach Hut' where families can meet up, play games, make tea and listen to music if so desired. It is never easy to place a family member into residential accommodation of any kind but Emerson Court is a true "Home from Home'. I am so grateful to you all for the way you look after my husband and the welcome given to me.

MY mum has been part of the Freshfields "family" Residential Home for 2 and a half years. We have nothing but praise for all the staff who work there. Mum settled in very well and is very happy to call it her home. It's always such a hard decision to make to select a home, but Freshfields have exceeded our expectations with care, dignity, cleanliness, and all the activities arranged for them. The food is all home cooked and is outstanding. Peace of mind to our family that mum is so happy there.

Freshfield felt homely and friendly from day one for mum and visiting family. We are always made to feel welcome on the phone and in person. Staff are very caring and like friends, not just staff. All treat her with respect and dignity in her cosy room. There is a nice choice of food, and lots of activities are available, including themed days, with special birthday treats! Mum has been resident in 'her home' for over 3 years and feels safe and content. As a family, we have peace of mind with the great 24 hour care she receives, and totally recommend Freshfields.

The kitchen always makes a birthday cake for every resident.

Everyone is so kind to mum, and we are made so welcome whenever we visit. It's an open door policy and nothing is too much trouble. Freshfields are supportive of our wishes and mum's needs.

There are a wide range of activities provided, but because mum finds it painful and difficult to move, she prefers to stay in her room to watch TV and read.

Freshfields is an amazing, caring home with skilled, dedicated and wonderful staff. All staff are very helpful making residents feel safe and cared for. The food is always lovely and my mum enjoys the home cooked meals provided. Additionally visitors are always offered drinks and cakes every visit. My mum has been a resident for 18 months now and nothing is too much trouble in ensuring her comfort from kitchen staff, maintenance man, carers and management alike. They are quick to respond and engage the doctor to attend to her whenever needed. A truly great place offering peace of mind!

In my experience Emerson Court Residential Home is amazing. The staff are excellent in providing a safe place for my mother. My mother has been there for nearly one year and as a family we are very happy with the way she has settled. This would not have been achieved without the staff who are friendly and experience in dealing with elderly people.

I am constantly impressed by the level of care my father receives. The staff are incredibly caring and work hard to maintain the dignity of all of the residents despite often challenging circumstances. I feel very reassured that my dad is extremely well cared for and am grateful for the daily feedback I get about how he has been. It is a small care home that has a wonderful family feel and I can visit at any time and see for myself how well cared for he is by a team that are familiar and treat him as one of their own family.

I have been very impressed overall by the standard of care at Freshfields. There is great interaction with the residents. My dad is treated with respect and his personal carers ensure he is always clean shaved and dressed appropriately. The staff are welcoming, the food is high quality. Management and staff are very approachable always happy to help with any concerns. My dad would not have better care. Freshfields is a very homely home not clinical at all. I don't need to worry about my dad anymore.

I arrived at 10 am to take my friend out as she is quite fit and able to walk without any aids. The residents were having breakfast, some in the dining room and some in their chairs. They all had different meals of what they wanted. They are always seen happy and like to have a chat. The rooms are well-kept and spotless. I can find no fault with the home. The staff are also friendly and work hard and will answer any questions.

It's always a very upsetting time when a dear relative enters a care home, but the staff were so friendly and supportive, my mum then preferred with her new friends. Freshfields is such a friendly home that 2 of my friends now have their parents living there too as my recommendation was so high. The doctors and day-to-day care with medication and personal hygiene have been dealt with great dignity.

We are so lucky to have found Freshfields for Mum. It gives the whole family great peace of mind knowing that Mum is being looked after so well.

The activities on offer daily are brilliant always something different for everyone and the day trips are great! It's like home from home at Freshfields, my grandmother has made some lovely friendships with other residents. She is so happy here and knowing she is, gives me such peace of mind.

Never an easy job caring for elderly/frail folk, but at Freshfields it is carried out with great care and understanding. Thank you so much Freshfields.

My mother moved to Emerson Court in September 2022 from another care home. The difference was unbelievable. The care, companionship, fun and atmosphere at Emerson are amazing. My mum is always laughing, singing and dancing with the carers. It feels like a home from home and I cannot recommend Emerson Court enough to anyone else in my situation. An absolutely amazing home!
