Mum came to the home for about two years. She had a stroke and other health problems. The home and all the staff are amazing and gave mum the best last 2 years of her life. When family visited, we always felt welcomed and kept up to date with mum. It is a fantastic home and highly recommended.

My mum lives with Alzheimer's & the care she's received has been nothing short of outstanding from the very beginning, the team have treated her with patience, dignity, & genuine kindness. They take the time to understand her needs, even on difficult days, & always make her feel safe & respected. It's
clear that this is more than just a job to them - they truly care about the residents as individuals. The communication with our family has also been excellent & it's incredibly reassuring to know she is in such capable & compassionate hands.

I would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone at Bartlett's for the wonderful care they provide to my mother-in-law, who is living with Alzheimer's. The kindness, patience & respect shown to her every day has made such a difference to both her well-being & our peace of mind. The staff consistently
treat her with warmth & dignity & they take the time to understand her needs as they change.
We're especially grateful for the clear communication & how well we're kept informed & involved. It's reassuring to know she's not only safe, but truly cared for.

When you enter Stone House, it is so welcoming and feels like one big happy family. My Mum has been a resident for nine months now, and in that time I cannot fault the care she receives. The nurses and carers are wonderful, so hard working, caring and attentive. The activities team are also brilliant
putting on a programme of varied and excellent activities including outings. Mum especially enjoys the garden, it is beautiful and so well kept with a wheelchair friendly path to wheel her round so she can take in the flowers and the birds singing. I would highly recommend Stone House Nursing Home.

Bartlett's Residential Care Home

In its beautiful rural setting Bartlett's really does excel in providing a unique environment in every respect for the elderly in need of care. Whether it is the comfort of the spacious and well-equipped bedrooms, the tasteful decor of the public areas, the variety and quality of meals to suit every
taste and diet, the wide range of stimulating activities and events to engage residents of all abilities: all these aspects contribute to an exceptional quality of life for the elderly. There is, however, one aspect which makes Bartlett's even more exceptional and that is the ethos clearly shared by every single member of staff which focuses wholly on the physical and mental wellbeing of the resident. Nowhere have I seen such compassion and kindness being shown to those in need of care. Quite simply, Bartlett's is a beautiful care home with a heart.

Our experience has been that the staff at Bartlett's are very caring and compassionate and they have gone above and beyond to make Mum and Dad feel welcome and at home. They are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are excellent and the activities and interaction with
the staff brings a great deal to their day. Making the decision as a family was not easy but it has been a very positive experience, exceeding all our expectations and we know that Mum and Dad are happy, safe and very well cared for.

My mother stayed at Merryfield for 2.5 months until she sadly passed away. The home was so inclusive with amazing staff who truly cared. The staff are a tribute to this fabulous home. Towards the end my mother was even more beautifully cared for if that is possible and personally monitored through
the day and night. thank you Merryfield
