When you enter Stone House, it is so welcoming and feels like one big happy family. My Mum has been a resident for nine months now, and in that time I cannot fault the care she receives. The nurses and carers are wonderful, so hard working, caring and attentive. The activities team are also brilliant putting on a programme of varied and excellent activities including outings. Mum especially enjoys the garden, it is beautiful and so well kept with a wheelchair friendly path to wheel her round so she can take in the flowers and the birds singing. I would highly recommend Stone House Nursing Home.

My father arrived at Stone House during a period of great sadness in our family. The staff understood and treated both him and us with great care and sensitivity. They have continued to work very hard to help him settle in, and we, his family, have been made to feel very welcome. Stone House staff feel like family - they are always cheerful, caring and eager to help. The home itself is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We are delighted with our decision.

I am very pleased with the care my mum is receiving at Stone House nursing home. The staff are consistently warm, kind, and attentive to her needs, and it gives me a real peace of mind to know she is in good hands. It's clean that everyone there takes the time to get to know her and provide care that feels personal and respectful. Whenever I visit the atmosphere is calm and welcoming and mum seems settled and content. I truly appreciate the comms and how they involve me in mum's care. Knowing she is safe, supported and treated with care, dignity means a lot to me.

Exceptional Nursing Home and Outstanding Care in beautiful surroundings. My mother who suffered from dementia lived here for a year. She was very well looked after and cared for. The meals were delicious, the comfort first class and an atmosphere of calm and peace. There were numerous activities with dog and pony visits and wonderful singers. We are extremely grateful to mum's lovely nurses and carers, especially a few specific carers and her male carers, sorry if forgotten anyone.. all excellent. Also, many thanks to the manager and another member of staff too. I would highly recommend this Nursing Home for a loved one.

I have been sitting here wondering what to say because it is almost unheard of to come across a business which is perfect. Bearing in mind that perfection does not exist, this nursing home, without question exceeds in every aspect of the provision of it's services. The most important being the absolutely genuine love and care that residents receive.

My wife suffers from late stage dementia. After falling ill with a blood infection she was taken into hospital. After three days she was discharged but the family realised where she lived was not suitable for her deteriorating condition. We found Stone House Nursing Home, contacted them and within two days she was taken in. The staff immediately comforted her and made her feel safe. All the staff are first class, polite, caring, kind and above all want to do the best for my wife.

Absolutely fantastic.
All the staff were amazing, kind, compassionate and caring.
The nicest nursing/care home ever.
The only tip if one is needed is maybe new towels.

Mum started here with strangers - and ended up leaving with friends and emotions saying goodbye.

Stone House continues to look after Mum in a caring and professional way.
They have this year built a lovely new garden and patio making the outside much more accessible. We had a lovely picnic on the patio for Mum's Birthday.
The staff from the catering and activities teams are always looking to offer new ideas for the residents.

A great nursing home.
