Thank you for your feedback about your time in Bluebell Lodge , we are pleased to hear you feel well looked after by our caring team. We've taken on board your comments about staying mentally active and have responded to the suggestions you shared at the residents' meeting. As a result, we've made changes to our activity schedule to include skittles, bowling, and balloon tennis. We know many have enjoyed the slideshow presentation and taking part in chair yoga and weekly fitness sessions. While we understand that not all activities suit everyone, we remain committed to supporting you in finding meaningful mental and physical engagement. Read less

As you mentioned, residents have the right to make their own choices and we are legally and ethically bound to respect them, even when care is declined. Due to the age and original design of the building, we are somewhat limited in the type and size of lift we're able to install. However, we want to reassure you that we're doing everything we can within those constraints to ensure residents' comfort and mobility.The current lift is supported by a 24-hour emergency call-out service, with most issues resolved on the same day. In addition, we're pleased to share that we're in the process of installing a stairlift as a backup solution, so that residents can still move freely around the home even in the unlikely event of a lift breakdown.We're committed to providing a safe, accessible, and supportive environment for everyone in our care, and we truly appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve. Read less
