The staff are very professional, caring, and friendly. They do all they can to ensure the residents are safe and well.
Residents are helped to engage in activities that are appropriate for them.
When necessary residents are encouraged to consume the food provided and the meals can be adjusted to
encourage sufficient consumption.

From the moment you enter the home there is a feeling of warmth and friendliness from all the staff. The level of care and attention for my mother is second to none and they are always attentive and looking for ways to engage her and made her life as fulfilling as possible. The number of activities

Living a considerable distance from Farnham Mill means that my visits to my mother are not as frequent as I would wish. However, when I do visit, everyone makes me feel incredibly welcome and the team ensure I am able to make the most of the precious time I can spend there. Mum's mobility is now reduced
but the staff make sure that she is part of what goes on at Farnham Mill and spend time engaging with her - I never fail to be amazed at their kindness, care, patience and empathy. Mum recently celebrated her 91st birthday and if I'm honest I think what keeps her going, as well as the excellent care, is the wonderful food, well, mainly the puddings and cakes and lots of tea!! I will be visiting again later this month and I am really looking forward to seeing mum but also the team and the other residents. It is like a big family, and I am glad Mum has that each and every day.

The care, attention and kindness offered to my aunt (and to my husband and myself), following an unexpected incident, could not be faulted. The staff were thorough, professional, diligent and attentive at all times. They ensured that we were kept updated and were willing to answer our questions. Whilst

I would like to thank the Manager and her team for their outstanding support to my parents during their recent two-week stay at Farnham Mill. It's a beautiful and calm environment, and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone went above and beyond, and my parents have returned home all the better for
their stay.
Visiting Farnham Mill was an absolute pleasure. We were made to feel very welcome, and all the team made time to chat, advise and support, which was very much appreciated.

We as a family are very pleased with the nursing home. Staff go above & beyond to make residents comfortable & feel special. Nursing home is always clean & food is lovely. Activities are always taking place & there is a lovely friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. Families are made

My aunt has been a resident at Farnham Mill since September 2018 and is now aged 99 (and a half!). She is extremely frail and suffers from mixed dementia, with her mood varying from day to day. The care staff at Farnham Mill relate well to her and take the time to talk to her on a 1:1 basis when her
mood is good. She is treated with respect and kindness. She does not participate in the activities other than the visits from animals and seems to enjoy listening to piano playing when in a good mood. By her own admission she is a fussy eater but the home caters for her limited tastes. The home is always spotless, we are greeted very well each time we visit and are offered hot drinks. The fees are at the upper end hence the slightly lower marking for value for money. But all in all we are extremely pleased with the way my aunt is cared for at Farnham Mill.

My husband was admitted to Farnham Mill in October 2024 in a bad way. The nursing staff have taken excellent care of him physically and mentally. Everyone has been so kind to him and always has a smile. The food was varied and very nice. Activities and entertainment are amazing with outside trips, crafts
and female singers, tap dancing and a dog show, baby farm animals and event celebrations.

Our Mum spent her last few weeks at Farnham Mill Nursing Home. The decision to move to a Nursing Home was a hard one, which I'm so glad we made.
Mum was cared for with nothing but kindness and respect by experienced staff. As relatives, we also benefitted from this kindness, and on visits we were made
to feel welcomed and valued by all the staff. As we live at some distance, we really appreciated the regular updates by email to tell us how Mum was doing, informing further plans of action. The staff made time for us, and made time for Mum, patiently assisting her with aspects of her care that were challenging.
Mums life before her move was limited to being nearly totally housebound in a small flat. When she moved, she was able to choose several different areas to sit within this spacious home and people watch, including a beautiful balcony overlooking a stream. Even if too poorly to join in most of the activities, activities staff would sit with her and chat. Thank you Farnham Mill.

"A taste of Haven" is the way we would describe the love and care mum and all our family have experienced through the time walking with mum in her end-of-life experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum was so well looked after, each day we saw her, she was so clean and tidy and well-groomed. The
staff there felt like family to us, nothing was left out in caring not only for mum but for us as well. Truly amazing staff. The lady on Reception particularly stood out for us, again, nothing was overlooked in her approach and the sensitive way she dealt with us on arrival. 12/10, we would score her. A brilliant ambassador for your company.

The reception staff are extremely personable and helpful. All staff greet visitors and interact with residents most kindly. Daily entertainments and activities with a wide variety, so something for everyone. The home itself is bright and welcoming with a lovely atmosphere.
