My aunt has been living at Woodlands Care Home for a year now, and she couldn't be happier. The staff are wonderfully caring and treat everyone like family, relatives included. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and their warmth really shines through.
There's always a wide variety of activities
and outings, which so many residents truly enjoy. The beautifully maintained gardens also bring a lot of joy to everyone. Woodlands provides not just care, but a genuine sense of community and home. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home.

Knowing that not only is dad being cared for at the highest professional standard , but that this is with both love and respect gives me total peace of mind that dad is in the right Nursing Home. Staff always make visiting as homely as possible with tea / coffee and often cake. The bbq's this summer
have been a wonderful opportunity for grandchildren and great grandkids to have a fun time with dad enjoying the entertainment together. I highly recommend Hill House.

Mum took a while to adjust and accept she wouldn't be returning home, but the staff have been so supportive and caring that she is very settled and contented. She thoroughly enjoys the activities and outings, but is able to retreat to her own space when she doesn't want to socialise. I'm not able
to visit my mother as often as I'd like but I know she is incredibly well looked after. I also find all the carers etc at Hill House are very welcoming when I do visit.

Mum has been at Hill house for well over a year now. For most of us it is a really difficult decision to move our loved ones in to care. This home is run like a home. The facilities and staff are fantastic along with all the activities they offer. They keep in regular contact via social media updates,
monthly reports and you are always welcome to call for updates or visit whenever you wish. I love seeing the photos of Mum smiling and joining it. It really is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Thank you to everyone who cares for my Mum and does such an amazing job.

Both my parents are residents at Hill House Nursing Home.My father has been there for over 3 years and my mother for nearly a year.Prior to this we had live in carers.I was recommended the home by several friends whose parents were residents. As a GP I have visited many care homes over the last 3 decades
and can easily say that Hill House Nursing Home is head and shoulders above any other care home that I have seen.
The staff on the front desk are always welcoming and know who I am.The turn over of staff is very limited. The nursing staff and care assistants are very kind and attentive and are familiar with my parents health needs and have a good insight into their condition. The activities team are cheerful and full of energy. There is plenty to do for those that are able.I visit weekly and am always offered tea and cake which is delicious.
I can confidently say that my parents are in the best home available ,are treated with respect and are safe at all times.

Farnham Mill is a wonderfully caring home for my mother. The staff are amazing and the kindness, care, dignity and respect shown always are second to none. I know that my mum could not be better cared for which gives me great peace of mind. She has been at Farnham.Mill for over 5 years now and although
her ability to engage in many of the activities has declined, staff encourage her to enjoy what she can. It has such a warm, caring atmosphere and they look after the families too.

My mum was transferred to Hill House from hospital after breaking her hip. She was very upset and unsettled for several days. The staff at Hill House were so calm and kind to her. Nothing was too much trouble and they never rushed her. She is now happy and settled.
Whenever I visit she is up and
dressed and she always looks fresh and cared for. The staff are always on hand immediately if any of the residents need anything.
There are always a variety of activities available for the residents to choose to participate in if they want to and my mum enjoys joining in.
I am kept up to date with all her care, medical needs and GP visits and all staff are always available for me to chat to about any concerns.
I am very happy with the care that my mum receives and feel that I can trust all the staff to look after her. Even though her dementia has deteriorated she is still able to enjoy and have a good quality of life at Hill House

My mother has been a resident at Woodlands for 3 years now. Throughout her time there she has been very happy about the care she receives from everyone. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are there at a push of her button. At 102 yrs now she is more frail causing her care to be readjusted
and more closely monitored which the management have dealt with superbly. All the family feel very happy to have found this care home for her.

It's difficult moving a loved one to a care home and there is inevitably a settling in period. After a challenging initial time Mum has settled in remarkably well. She looks and seems well and is much more engaged and lively than when she was at home. The staff are exceptional - polite, caring and welcoming.
Importantly Mum seems to both respect and like them.
Moving Mum to Hill House has been the right decision and I'm relieved to see her enjoying her twilight years.

I am very impressed with the care and attention to detail my aunt has received since recently moving to Woodlands. They made her feel very welcome on her arrival, listening carefully to her preferences and since then have been extremely helpful. They have also been very good at organising an early GP

The staff are very caring and approachable when guidance/help is needed. The safety/security section was graded satisfactory due to a couple of nighttime instances with 2 different residents entering my mother's bedroom during the night, causing distress. The rooms are overall good, but could do with
plumper pillows on the bed.

I couldn't be happier with the care my parents receive from all the staff at Woodlands. Nothing is too much trouble! The staff are all very attentive, friendly and caring. Residents, relatives and friends alike, are all made to feel extremely welcome. There is a very cheerful atmosphere at Woodlands
and there are beautiful gardens to have a wander round, with seating dotted around if you fancy a rest under a shady tree. Lots of activities, chair exercises, go on during the day to keep minds and bodies active too. Food is lovely, they do BBQ's and afternoon teas as well. They have singers and entertainment and outings too. It really is an exceptional place. My parents are very happy there and I'm glad they are somewhere safe and all their needs are catered to by an extremely professional and caring team. Thank you all at Woodlands!

I have been visiting my friend's Mum here for nearly two years and I have to say what a warm and friendly, more like family, environment the home is. She is usually having a laugh with one of the staff who are all polite, helpful and caring. There is a wide variety of activities to keep the residents
stimulated, including outings each week. The food is excellent, again a varied choice each day. The family BBQ's and quiz nights are very popular. A lovely place for loved ones to be cared for and safe.
