They all said goodbye to him on his last night, holding his hand and showing him so much respective. They are amazing people.

When my mother in law passed away, in her room at The Stainsbridge, the staff kept us up to date and informed of any changes. They were extra kind and thoughtful during the last few days. When the end came, all the staff on duty paid their respects - they took turns to hold her hand and say goodbye. We will always remember this and be very grateful for everything, everyone at The Stainsbridge did for both my mother in law and ourselves.

She loved the beautiful well stocked gardens and loved to take part in the Wednesday garden club which is extremely popular with the residents.
During the end of Mum's life, the dignity, respect and care shown by the staff was exceptional and a great comfort to me during that very difficult time.

we can't do anything about. We do our best to make her feel happy but the food is the main issue. It's bland and simple so she looks forward to us taking her home-cooked meals. We aren't a family to judge but for the money to stay here things could be improved.

There are many and varied activities for residents to partake of, and be involved in. The manageress is upbeat, welcoming, inclusive and dedicated and has created a real family feel to the care home, not just towards the residents and staff but towards visiting families and friends of residents. My wife has been treated with understanding, empathy and patience and I have no hesitation recommending Stainsbridge House.

back in person that day. To cut a long story short, we were able to take my father in that same evening. He was very well looked after, and the whole team of staff were so lovely and kind. Sadly, my father passed away just two weeks later, but we as a family were so grateful that he was well cared for by such an excellent team... so thank you so very much for being there at such a sad time.

When Mum died, the staff reacted as if there had been a death in the family, which was immensely touching. The rooms are beautiful and there are good views from all of them - either of fields or of the Bristol Channel.
A meeting was recently held in which residents were given a chance to vent any criticisms. No one could find anything bad to say and instead made a vote of thanks to the manager, followed by a round of applause. That said it all.

practical level. The rooms need to be cleaned more frequently and more thoroughly. Clothing sent to the laundry would sometimes disappear despite being named, and woollens would return shrunken. The lift was often out of order. I would like to emphasise that these were practical problems that by no means reflect upon the superb level of care given by the manager and her team.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming and have encouraged Mum to join in group activities, such as singing and listening to live music, when she wants to. She has enjoyed playing scrabble with other residents and word searches, which she really enjoys. There is a feeling of calm in the home and a deep sense of caring by every member of staff. We are very happy with how things are working out, and as a family, we feel we are listened to about any matters relating to Mum's care.

As a widower, he had become lonely and frail and Lampton House gave him a good chapter in his life for his final days - Having just lost him, we shall be ever grateful to think he was well cared for and excellently looked after, especially in the unprecedented times of the pandemic. Well done all those at Lampton House, you certainly deserve a pat on the back.

All the staff have always been welcoming to visitors and it is clear they care for all residents with calm compassion whatever there care needs may be. From the wine at Sunday lunch, the splendid Christmas dinner and homemade birthday cakes with singing every year they provide a very homely welcoming place

I only have good words for all of the staff, they made my mother's last years happy and secure.

the quizzes and music. Mum suffered from acute anxiety following the death of her husband of 60 years prior to becoming a resident at Lampton House. The staff at Lampton House managed mum's anxiety very well and enabled her to have a meaningful and fulfilling life. It was very difficult not being able to visit mum during the Covid Lockdowns, although daily phone calls to mums room, video calls and regular updates from the manager maintained contact and provided reassurance. The end of life care mum received was exemplary nursing care as well as the respect and dignity shown towards her and our family especially during her last week when we were able to be at her bedside.
