I wanted to share our family's positive experience and the outstanding care provided to my aunt during her stay of nearly five months. From the moment she arrived, the leadership team set an excellent tone: professional, responsive, and clearly committed to the highest standards of care. Their guidance and oversight gave us complete confidence that she was good hands. The staff have been consistently warm, sincere, and genuinely caring. They treated my aunt with kindness and respect, taking the time to understand her needs and preferences. The daily care she received enabled her to make steady progress, and she has spoken warmly of the time she spent there. We are extremely grateful to everyone at Homecroft for the high-quality, compassionate care they provided. It made a difficult period so much easier for both my aunt and our family. We would not hesitate to recommend Homecroft Residential Home to others looking for a supportive, professional, and genuinely caring environment.

I am very happy with the care and staff at Homecroft. Staff are always cheerful and caring. The home is very clean and well maintained. I feel very re-assured that my mother is in the very best place.

From December 2022 to Current date. Carers treat residents with respect, they have a calmness about them which makes for a respectful environment. My mother came to Homecroft around 15 months ago after falling at home following several infections and hospital visits. She had mild dementia and now needed more care. On visiting several possible homes Homecroft felt right after speaking to Sue, care home manager, staff and residents. It was obvious after a few days we had chosen correctly. Mum seemed happier than she had in a while even though she grumbled at times. Unfortunately mum passed away peacefully after having wonderful care for over a year, not once needing a hospital. I regularly visit and see staff that treat all residents with so much care, attention and respect. On visiting you can have space with your loved one to play games, do jigsaws, talk. Food menu throughout the week is varied and often catered to individuals tastes, hot or cold drinks are given to all residents and visiters regularly throughout the day (id say hourly!). The staff are always happy to help and had made a real bond with my mother. Thank you all.

Mother absolutely didn't want to go into a care home, decision was taken away from her/us by hospital S/W who stated mom could not go home it was unsafe, we all agreed. From the moment she was assessed by the home to mom moving in was very short, just a couple of days, which really helped because mom remembered the very nice lady who went to assess mom in hospital. She was greeted at the home and was treated like royalty, she soon fell in love with all of the care staff. They are all very caring and respectful. She quickly settled into the routine of homelife and found it very reassuring and has loved it for 19 months. Her room was small, by the time the larger rooms were finished she was so used to it we decided to leave her there as she only slept in there anyway. The staff are so friendly they feel like extended family. The food is cooked onsite, mom loved it, was never an issue if she changed her mind between choosing and meal time, if they had it, she got it, amazing care home.

Mum moved to Wyndley Grange recently as her dementia and physical health had deteriorated and her previous residential home were no longer able to manage her care needs. She has settled in well thanks to friendly, kind and attentive staff. We feel confident that care staff are competent and are supported by committed senior staff and management. We are pleased with the care mum receives and feel we can rely on them to provide the best possible care for her.

Homecroft Residential Home have been very supportive for my mother. They seem very caring and meet my mother's needs. There is a good caring atmosphere with crafts and social events. Only one small issue is my mum's room is very small, but to be honest she spends no time in it, apart from sleeping. The carers and management are excellent!

I would strongly recommend that any families looking for a nursing home in the area should certainly visit Wyndley and spend some time with the manager and the staff.

We were advised Mom was very poorly requiring end-of-life care, we were devastated, no longer being able to care for her at home, reluctantly agreeing for her to move into care not knowing what to expect. From day one staff were amazing, treating Mom with dignity and respect, taking care of not only her medical needs but personal care, she was bed-bound and extremely frail. We visited every day, always met with friendly greetings from everyone, kept up to date with medical developments, changes were promptly dealt with, ensuring she was as comfortable as possible. Someone was always on hand to discuss any concerns. When Mom passed as throughout her care we were kept informed, and were able to spend her final moments with her. We cannot thank everyone enough for looking after not only Mom but us as a family during those last few weeks. We would assure anyone looking for care for a family member Wyndley Grange should be top of your list, the staff are amazing, we cannot praise them highly enough.

Mum came to Wyndley Grange at the end of May initially for respite care having had the latest of many recent falls. The Management and Nursing team acted very promptly after our enquiry and couldn't have been more helpful. After a few weeks Mum came to the realisation that she could no longer care for herself and has become a resident. She has a lovely spacious room overlooking the garden and can get out to the lovely covered garden terrace to sit and read or take a bit of exercise. All the staff are friendly and kind from the Nurses, Carers, Housekeepers, Receptionists to the lovely maintenance men. I have peace of mind that all her needs are catered for and she is in a secure and safe environment.

During Mum's last few months in the home, she was very ill and became increasingly frail. The staff were amazing treating her with dignity and respect and were very caring and empathetic to her needs. It gave us as a family great peace of mind knowing that she was being so well looked after at all times of the day and night.

When we knew mum was the end of her life we could not have asked for more. The nursing team were always on hand to talk to us and explain what was happening, what medication she was on and the next steps. The staff supported us as a family as well as the care they gave mum to make her as comfortable and as pain-free as possible in her last few days.

I would not hesitate to recommend Wyndley Grange as a care home. The staff are wonderful and the care is second to none.

We could not be happier with the care our mother received here during the last 2 months of her life. We had to choose a home quickly and feel so fortunate we chose Wyndley Grange Nursing Home. The staff here have been amazing, demonstrating real care and empathy, not just for my mom but my father on his regular visits. The whole experience was as positive as it could have been and I can only thank everyone at Wyndley Grange for their support at a most difficult time.
