Happy with all my dads care.

Happy memories of the time my brother was a resident at Orchard Views. My brother was very well cared for and was extremely happy and settled. All the staff were wonderful and cared in such a way that is really did make a vast difference to the quality of life not just to my brother, but to every resident. We could rely on the best of care at all times and certainly the reassurance made our lives better as well as knowing the best of care was second to none.

Staff have been amazing with my nan. She is much happier here at Dearnlea than she was at home alone.

I wish to say all the staff from the office staff to the cleaners have been brilliant with my mum. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. Her health hasn't been the best but they made sure that she got all the treatment she needed. I wish to say thank you to them all.

I like it here as the staff so nice.

This has been a very difficult decision for me as I desperately wanted to stay in my own home. But I have accepted I can't manage by myself any longer so agreed to try a week. After a day I have decided I feel so looked after, I want to stay! Jean (the chef) does wonderful home cooking too, and Lindsay has been so caring and kind. Thank you to Lindsay and the carers, etc.

I cannot thank Lindsay (Home Manager) and her staff enough. Such a difficult decision to put my dad into care, but Lindsay was absolutely AMAZING from the very first phone call to me. She came out immediately to dad's house to meet him and put him @ ease. He was at a critical point, it was very emotional but Lindsay showed such calmness, care, utmost concern + empathy. It made the transition for dad (& me) so much easier. I have total confidence in Lindsay + her staff. Thank you.

My grandad has been in Dearnlea for just over a year now after moving from another home. With him having Dementia this was going to be a challenge as he did not like change. However, Dearnlea was like a different place to him, he settled straight in, was welcomed by all staff and he was happy from day one. More than a year later and he's still smiling and happy. They have activities for all as well as TVs rooms, a family room and a great size dining room. My grandad loves to laugh and joke with staff and they laugh and joke back which is great to hear and see. It's like a huge family. Even as a visitor I feel welcomed and part of that huge family. I highly recommend Dearnlea and wouldn't want my grandad anywhere else now. Thank you

Residents are well cared for and respected. Activities are plentiful and varied

The staff and manager were very polite and welcoming my brother was clean and was looked after well.

I visited Orchard Views on Thursday last week when collecting my brother from respite care then again this morning when dropping him off for this weeks respite. My brother,his wife and myself were greeted by the staff and manager. The staff were so friendly with me took the time to have a chat and answer my questions. My brother was greeted by the staff like he was a member of their family. This kind touch reassured me that he is well cared for at Orchard Views. The smile on his face spoke volumes, another indication to me that he's happy there. Staff took the time to chat to my sister in law and actively listed to her feedback from the weekend at home. The unit looked beautiful, nicely decorated in relaxing tones with comfortable furnishings. As we were leaving my brother was tucking in to his coffee and biscuits with a beaming smile. Such a relief for me to know he's happy and well cared for.

I went to visit a friend of mine a couple of times both the two visits i was met by members of the staff who were polite and friendly They showed me round the round the complex which I thought was nice and clean I can recommend the Orchard View to anybody and be assured they'll be very pleased

I viewed the home with my cousin who was looking for a placement for her Dad. We didn't make an appointment, were greeted by the home manager who was welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. The atmosphere in the home is lovely, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Staff always offer you a drink and have been offered a meal on occasions. The residents appear happy and well cared for. The food is home cooked and looks delicious.

I would not hesitate in recommending Orchard Views
