Orchard Views offers a full tour of the facilities, including the lounges, secure outdoor space, and available bedrooms, giving a clear view of daily life. Visitors will also have the chance to meet the friendly staff and see the warm and welcoming environment Orchard Views is known for.
Visiting can take place at any time of the day; however, protected mealtimes from 12:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 17:00. Arrangements can be made for residents to dine with their loved ones if they wish.

After caring for my aunt at her home, for 21 months, her daughter had to use the respite due to her 'end of lie' situation, after her brother was given 3 months to live. So my aunt was brought into Orchard Views within 2 hours of applying. From walking through the door we were made so welcome, and things explained to us, my aunt was included immediately and asked of her preferences, her likes and dislikes. It was such a fast transaction my cousin and I were as if we were in a dream. Everyone was so kind and helpful we left feeling reassured and feel more confident of the thoughtful, kind staff on every visit. My aunt is probably staying permanently in this great place.

Lindsey and her team are absolutely fabulous!! The care, compassionate and dedication to the residents, including my uncle, is amazing. On every visit I am welcomed and when I ask my uncle how the staff are, he is nothing but complimentary. The home itself has undergone some renovations and continues this, but everything that has been done so far mirrors a beautiful and warm environment for the residents. The home itself provides top notch food, entertainment and puts its residents front and foremost. As a relative visiting my uncle, it is reassuring and brings me happiness that he is settled in his new environment.
The staff go above and beyond ensuring that every resident is treated with kindness, compassion and respect that they deserve.

She came out immediately to dad's house to meet him and put him @ ease. He was at a critical point, it was very emotional but Lindsay showed such calmness, care, utmost concern + empathy. I visited Orchard Views on Thursday last week when collecting my brother from respite care then again this morning when dropping him off for this weeks respite. My brother,his wife and myself were greeted by the staff and manager. The staff were so friendly with me took the time to have a chat and answer my questions. My brother was greeted by the staff like he was a member of their family. This kind touch reassured me that he is well cared for at Orchard Views. The smile on his face spoke volumes, another indication to me that he's happy there. Staff took the time to chat to my sister in law and actively listed to her feedback from the weekend at home. The unit looked beautiful, nicely decorated in relaxing tones with comfortable furnishings. As we were leaving my brother was tucking in to his coffee and biscuits with a beaming smile. Such a relief for me to know he's happy and well cared for.

I had been looking after Dad for the past 3 years but over the past few months his dementia was getting progressively worse and his medical needs were increasing.I reluctantly made the decision to place Dad in Orchard Views for some respite. It was such a very hard decision to make but Lindsey, the care home manager, soon put my mind at ease.It is obvious how passionate and committed she is to providing the best service and care possible and she has already made significant improvements to the home since taking on the role.She has gone above and beyond, even collecting a prescription for Dad on her day off! I have witnessed her 'muck in' with jobs when needed, a sign of a real team player. All the staff are lovely and kind and make sure all Dads needs are met with a smile. The food is wonderful and all home made, Dad particularly enjoys the puddings!! I'm very happy to say that Dad has settled in really well which was my main concern.
I would not hesitate in recommending Orchard Views

I hold a Psychology BSc (Hons) from the University of Leeds and before entering care I worked at the Academic Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Leeds General Infirmary. I conducted several research projects which had a focus on falls prevention in older adults and I am very proud that two of those projects were published.
