The staff are kind, caring, and always treat him with dignity and respect. It's clear they genuinely care about the wellbeing and happiness of residents. The home is always clean, welcoming, safe, and well managed, and my dad's room is comfortable and homely.
The food is excellent, activities are engaging, and the overall standard of care is outstanding. Every area deserves the 5 stars we've given. We are so grateful for the dedication and support shown to my dad and would wholeheartedly recommend this home, for anyone with the easiest or more complex care needs.

I was always made very welcome whenever I visited my friend and it was wonderful to observe the relationship between my friend and the staff, who clearly loved her dearly. The home was always clean and the quality (and quantity) of the food was excellent. There was no set breakfast menu, residents could choose anything from a bowl of porridge to a full English! Always two choices at lunch and tea and always home made. None of the rooms are en suite but there are enough bathrooms for the residents as well as a hairdressing salon. The biggest compliment I can give the home is that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Orchard Views to my family and friends and anyone looking for a down to earth, caring and friendly place to live.
My Dads first stay in Orchard Views for respite, so you can imagine my anxiety being his full time carer at home. My dad spent 2 days/ nights at Orchard Views and I was so happy when I went to take my Dad back home. The staff were all kind and gave person centred care, respecting my Dads needs and wishes and gave me a full update of his time spent in the home. My dad was smiling and happy, I have since booked more respite and thanks to Lyndsay and the staff, I am confident that my dad is safe and cared for so well. Thank you so very much Orchard Views.

A massive thank you to Lindsay, Omar and all the staff at Orchard Views. Mother needed a care home, quite quickly, after a fall to support her daily needs and get her back on her feet. This is exactly what they did. Lindsay is a first class care home manager, listening to the family and the client, as to the best way to provide care. Although only being in for 2 weeks respite, mother made friends, had 2 weekends of musical entertainment, cooked with college students, but most of all became her own person again. 5 star wonderful care.
I came to visit our old school friend and I was very impressed with Orchard Views. I sat with him in the lounge and all the residents looked very happy. It was clean and tidy and the food we had for lunch was very nice.

This home is a beacon of excellence. The manager is enthusiastic, kind and openly seeks you at for conversation when you visit. I have also never sat down and had a conversation with the owner of a home before - I have here. Should my mother need permanent care I have found the home for her.

On arrival I was met with great atmosphere and a happy, positive environment. This was the first time visiting my aunt so I wasn't sure what to expect. All my questions were answered professionally and was very reassuring. Lyndsays the manager showed me the facilities that my Aunt Shel uses. They are modern and fresh and the residents seemed happy. Some Irish dancers came and put on a performance which was great to see Aunt Shel involved. I wasn't sure what to expect but I am so glad my Aunt is thriving. Happy manager, happy staff, happy place.

I cannot rate this home highly enough l, we had a tough start to residential care in a previous home and after visiting several homes across the borough, this one stood out. Not just aesthetically as it is being refurbished beautifully, but the staff are lovely, warm, welcoming and capable. The manager, Lindsay, has been here just over a year and is fantastic. Her care plans are detailed and personal to my dad, no stone is left unturned. My dad has complex needs following a stroke and they manage them really well. I have faith that they are transparent with communications and pre-empt his needs. The team work hard to find suitable enrichment activities for all residents and provide a variety of activites that all are encouraged to join in with. My dad is happy, well kept, well hydrated and has a lovely diet of fresh home made food. Some areas are still being renovated but the plans are impressive, don't let it put you off.

The home is welcoming and clean, and the manager and staff helpful and friendly. The care being given being 1st class. The food is cooked on the premises and, according to my friend, excellent.

My mum stayed here for respite care whilst I visited my niece who lives abroad. I was really worried about leaving her, as she has lived with me for over a year since my Dad passed away. She has severe dementia and is unable to walk. As soon as me and my sister met Lindsay, the Care Home Manager, I knew we'd made the right choice. She was so passionate about providing the best care possible for her residents, and her knowledge regarding care for the elderly was exemplary. Lindsay wanted to know everything about my Mum so she could tailor the care she would receive. She showed us the facilities and where Mum would be sleeping. The reception rooms have recently been renovated to a high standard and are warm and inviting, and Mum's bedroom was lovely. I had chance to meet some of the carers who were so friendly and interacted wonderfully with the residents. I would heartily recommend this care home due to it's high standard of care and homely nature.
I think everything is very clean. Good food, very friendly staff and friendly residents.

I have worked in care since 2016. I began as a carer and soon developed a passion for the role. Having a strong work ethic and dedication I developed my skills and quickly rose through the hierarchy to management level. It is an honour to care for people and provide a high quality service.
I am now the manager of Orchard Views and it is a privilege to be part of this community.
I am very proud to have a team that is as passionate as myself in delivering high quality care.
I hold a Psychology BSc (Hons) from the University of Leeds and before entering care I worked at the Academic Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Leeds General Infirmary. I conducted several research projects which had a focus on falls prevention in older adults and I am very proud that two of those projects were published.
This previous role provided me with knowledge and skills that incorporate well into the role of a care manager.

It’s really important to me that residents feel respected, comfortable, and well cared for—and that staff feel confident and supported in their roles.

My name is Jean, and I have had the privilege of working here as the Head Chef for the past 27 years. Throughout my time here, I have dedicated myself to providing nutritious, delicious, and comforting meals for our residents. Over the years, I’ve come to know many of our residents personally, learning their individual preferences and dietary needs, which allows me to create menus that not only meet nutritional guidelines but also bring a bit of joy to their day.
For me, cooking isn’t just about food — it’s about care, comfort, and creating a sense of home. I take great pride in working closely with our care team, dietitians, and families to ensure that every meal supports the health and well-being of those we serve. After nearly three decades, this kitchen has become my second home, and it’s an honour to play a part in the daily lives of our residents.

My name is Alan, and I’ve been the Maintenance Man here for the past three years. My role is to make sure that our home is always safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our residents and staff. From keeping the heating running smoothly in the winter to making sure every lightbulb works and every handrail is secure, I take great pride in looking after the building so that everyone can feel at home.
Even though I work mostly behind the scenes, I enjoy getting to know the residents and making sure they feel comfortable raising any concerns, big or small. For me, it's not just about fixing things — it’s about creating a safe, pleasant environment where residents can relax and enjoy their day-to-day life without worry.
