Orchard Views caters to a range of needs, offering day care, respite (short-term) and long-term stays, ensuring that each resident receives personalised care tailored to their individual requirements.
The care home does not charge third-party top-up fees to local authority-funded residents, making high-quality care accessible to all.
Staffed by a dedicated team of experienced and friendly carers, including senior carers and care assistants, Orchard Views is committed to providing exceptional support to everyone who stays with them. The home is designed to offer comfort and safety, with two cosy lounges where residents can relax and socialise and a secure outdoor space that provides a pleasant area for residents to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
There are always plenty of activities taking place, helping to keep residents engaged, entertained and active. Orchard Views offers a full tour of the facilities, including the lounges, secure outdoor space, and available bedrooms, giving a clear view of daily life. Visitors will also have the chance to meet the friendly staff and see the warm and welcoming environment Orchard Views is known for.
Visiting can take place at any time of the day; however, protected mealtimes from 12:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 17:00. Arrangements can be made for residents to dine with their loved ones if they wish.

The meals are prepared to a high standard and are always varied. Overall my stay at Orchard Views has been and still is very enjoyable.

The care home has gone through a turbulent period over the last few months but they now have people in place who care for the residents and are proactively working to make it a better place to be. The atmosphere is much better over recent weeks.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and always do all they can to help but they always seem to be understaffed with agency staff being used. They also seem to struggle to keep a manager for any length of time. Maybe the staffing levels are causing morale problems.

We moved my father-in-law here only a month ago and I have to say the staff are amazing. He has been made to feel at home straight away. He has fitted in and likes to sit outside. It means here is nearer to us and that is lovely. He says the food is fantastic.

I am very proud to have a team that is as passionate as myself in delivering high quality care.
I hold a Psychology BSc (Hons) from the University of Leeds and before entering care I worked at the Academic Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Leeds General Infirmary. I conducted several research projects which had a focus on falls prevention in older adults and I am very proud that two of those projects were published.
This previous role provided me with knowledge and skills that incorporate well into the role of a care manager.
