Found the staff to be very kind & helpful. The home has a nice feel to it, very warm & cosy. My mother in law is clean, safe, cared for and has company. We can't fault the home. Myself and my wife are reassured she is in the best place.

This was my first visit today to see Marie she was relaxed and sat in the lounge enjoying watching the TV. The staff were very nice and so approachable and friendly and put all at ease. Marie looks to have settled in lovely and it was lovely to see her happy, well dressed and looking better than I have seen her in a long time. We were offered food & drinks and made welcome.

My experience and opinions of Orchard Views has been more than positive over the past 6 years. This was highlighted on a visit last month when I called to catch up with current residents that had become good friends during the time my late Aunt was a resident. The atmosphere was one of complete tranquillity. Staff greeted me with genuine warmth. After catching up with my friends in the home the manager gave me a tour of the home. All area were spotlessly clean and I was shown the recent renovations. The lounge area was very impressive, with a huge screen for viewing TV and films. Comfortable chairs were in abundance and the residents I met there were extremely happy and seemed most content. It was most telling as I observed the interaction between the staff and residents. There was a huge amount of respect given to all the residents.

I hope and pray that my final days could be spent in a home with the same standards as Orchard Views.

I had a bad experience before I arrived at Orchard View, but I feel safe and secure now. I am happy, and the carers are my friends. The food is very good, because I used to have it blended, but now I can eat normally because I have what I ask for. I have been here 3 1/2 years and I enjoy being here, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

1) When staff come to see to my needs they are always cheerful. 2) Because I am unable to get out of bed I am not able to join in any activities. However, my partner comes every day and we chat and he keeps me up to date. He also reads to me each day.

3) Overall I have no complaints regarding my care.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and always do all they can to help but they always seem to be understaffed with agency staff being used. They also seem to struggle to keep a manager for any length of time. Maybe the staffing levels are causing morale problems.

We moved my father-in-law here only a month ago and I have to say the staff are amazing. He has been made to feel at home straight away. He has fitted in and likes to sit outside. It means here is nearer to us and that is lovely. He says the food is fantastic.

I have worked in care since 2016. I began as a carer and soon developed a passion for the role. Having a strong work ethic and dedication I developed my skills and quickly rose through the hierarchy to management level.
It is an honour to care for people and provide a high quality service.
I am now the manager of Orchard Views and it is a privilege to be part of this community.
I am very proud to have a team that is as passionate as myself in delivering high quality care.

This previous role provided me with knowledge and skills that incorporate well into the role of a care manager.
