Every member of the staff at Bridge House go above and beyond to do their very best to look after both residents and their families with great care. It is the people who work so hard at Bridge house day in and day out that make Bridge House a special place.

Staff are attentive and welcoming. The whole place is very clean and beautiful decorations. Each resident is treat with dignaty and their needs met. The rooms are lovely and Mum is free to move her personal belonging around her. Each member of staff seems to know what is important to her. Food is available all day if required and lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Mum says 'it's like living in a 5 star hotel'

Whole family are really pleased with Mum's care. She is comfortable and well looked after. That is all we can ask for.

From the moment we stepped through the door, Bridge House felt homely and welcoming. The staff were friendly, kind and accommodating, and answered all my questions thoroughly. This was such a relief, as my dad had been through a very difficult time when his Alzheimer's suddenly worsened and he could no longer live independently. Given our circumstances, the team were very understanding and were happy to accommodate him quickly, which took a huge amount of pressure off us. After so much upheaval, I was worried my dad might feel unsettled or agitated, but he adjusted straight away and seems very happy. The premises are clearly designed with elderly people's needs in mind while still feeling modern, individual and thoughtfully decorated. The bar and cinema rooms are a great feature! Everyone I've met has been kind and professional, and admin processes have been straightforward and easy to follow. I'm very grateful for the care and support my dad and I have received.

I have nothing but very positive thoughts and good reactions to everything I have encountered on this new chapter for my Mums care. The staff have been amazing and this is from the carers the hostess on Mums floor and the admin staff downstairs who are always extremely helpful. I also appreciate all the entertainment that is put on for the residents.

My Mum had been in the same carehome a year before. She was transfered there from another care home and arrived not able to walk, some what messy and within a week or so she had been encouraged to walk and was being showered or washed each day, always with dignity and compassion. I cannot thank the staff enough, from managers, to carers, to cooks and cleaners for their hard work and dedication. You do not always get the appreciation from these somewhat confused residence but their families are full of gratitude for the work you do. Thank you.

Staff are always happy and friendly. If we have any questions or queries nothing is too much trouble, which has made the process of getting my grandma situated at Bridge House a lot easier that we thought it would be. It's not been an easy transition for my grandma but it has been made a little less stressful by the wonderful facilities and care that all the staff members show.

For Mums 90th the home organised a little party for Mum, and then with the help of Tracy, Chloe and other members of the team we had another get together that weekend in the "pub" for family members and friends which was very special - I would definitely recommend Bridge House

From the moment Mum arrived at Bridge House we knew as a family that this was the most amazing place for her to be. From the management team to every single member of staff they were so focused on Mum and her needs. As a family we are absolutely delighted and 100% satisfied with every aspect of Mums care. The staff re a massive asset to Bridge House, we would highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves in need of care for a loved one. Thankyou for everything so far.

My father couldn't cope on his own anymore even with carers help. I spoke with the management and they offered Dad an immediate room which was a big relief for myself and my brothers. Tok Dad a while to settle but now he feels very much part of the home. The staff have been so helpful to me and my Dad. Would recommend to anyone.

From the moment I stepped in to enquire about a room for Dad at Bridge House, I knew it was where I wanted him to be despite looking at other care homes and being nudged in other directions, it was the nearest thing to "home" as could be. The first member of staff I dealt with to the very last were welcoming, caring and always made time to answer any queries. Dad was as happy as could be in his last year of life, he never lost his sparkle in his eyes, Dad had a short stay in hospital before he passed away at Bridge House in very caring surroundings; Dad and family were treat in dignified manner

Bridge House is a care home that other care homes need to take lessons from.

My Mum has been at Bridge House Care Home for a month moving there following a stay in hospital after a fall, It was a big decision to move care homes but one that I am glad we have made. The time spent by the staff getting to know my Mum and understanding her needs has been amazing. There is a lovely atmosphere and genuine kindness. My Mum is enjoying the many activities. I feel very comfortable visiting and it is lovely to be able to sit in the communal areas with my Mum. It was my Mums birthday and we were able to visit as a family with her grand children and great grand children using the day room and the bar area making it a special occasion. The weekly coffee mornings are a good opportunity to have a chat and get to know the other relatives visiting residents. She has a lovely room and it is kept immaculate and clean. My Mum does not have the best appetite but is eating very well. Its a huge decision to have to move a relative into care but so grateful for Bridge House.

My husband has been on floor 3 at Bridge House coming up to 2 years and is unable to walk due to his dementia. He is bedbound and is repositioned several times a day. The carers work hard and one so kind and understanding to his needs. His skin is very sensitive and easily breaks into sores. His room is spotless. His clothes and bedding go to the laundry and returned within 24hrs. His meals are plenty & solved by management quickly. I feel very comfortable leaving my husband in their hands when I go home each day.
