We are very sorry that you feel your mums experience was not a positive one and that you feel the standard of care provided did not meet yours or your mums expectations. As you know we had no vacancies at the time of Mums stay on our residential floor and we explained that we only had a bedroom vacancy on our residential Dementia unit which was decided mum would try. It was decided that if during Mums short break on this unit and if a room on the residential floor became available we would support mum to move floors. However we did not have a vacancy during this time so mums stay was living alongside people who are living with medium acuity dementia. We would be very happy to meet with you to discuss your concerns again fully to enable us to address your concerns and take appropriate action to ensure that we are learning from your feedback.
