I always enjoy my visits to Worcester Lodge. There is a happy calm atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming - as well as being helpful and efficient. I am unable to give an answer to the last three questions below as I am not there to see any of the activities and I am not involved in any money matters.

Moving Mum to a new care home was a huge decision for my sister and I. We knew that Mum's needs were not being met where she was previously. We contacted Osborne House to arrange a tour. From the moment we stepped in we were made very welcome, every member of the team we met were friendly, professional and most importantly caring. A room with a view of the Bristol Channel was available, we could not have chosen anywhere better. We were delighted that Mum could move in immeditaely. On arrival we were asked to complete a comprehensive questionnaire, all of which was evidently read. Sadly Mum passed away fairly recently she was able to stay right up until she passed away, something we were so grateful for. Whilst she was there friends and family could visit at anytime and were also greeted with the same welcome as Mum. The food is excellent, activities are inclusuve everyone is encouraged to particpate in whatever is going on. The whole team demonstrate what care should look like

My husband has been a resident at Worcester Lodge since December 2022. He suffers from Lewy body dementia with Parkinson's. He needs 24/7 help and care. I am pleased with the care and attention afforded to him. He is kept spotlessly clean, and his every need is attended to with patience and understanding. Any issues I have experienced they have been promptly sorted by the management. I appreciate them immensely, as this is a very unpredictable and complex job.

I am very happy with my mother being here, the staff are caring and lovely, the home is beautifully decorated, the activities are exceptional. The most important thing is she feels safe and cared for and I can relax and be comfortable with leaving her there.

Such a beautiful clean and well looked after home, everyone is so polite and lovely! My nan seems so happy and well taken care of! Would recommend for anyone to have a family or friend living here. They would be very well looked after and loved

So happy with the care my mother receives here, she is so well looked after by the wonderful staff, they are always there to help in any way .Worcester lodge is always filled with endless smiles & laughter with So many activities & entertainment to occupy the residents . This was my first Christmas with my father in Worcester lodge. I cannot say how much I appreciated all of their care and attention to make Christmas and the New Year a special event. There were so many events and activities which were stimulating and fun. There was constant care and a huge effort to make the residents enjoy their time. Even though it was busy, the home was still a place of care and refuge and as close to home as can be made. I count our family blessed to have found such a fantastic place.

The Worcester Lodge team create a home my Mum is happy in and we are welcomed to. They exhibit kindness and care and the support for my Mum is fantastic. She is well cared for and has loving caring relationships with the team. And they support us through the day to day challenges with thought and humour.

We visited over Christmas & we were treated with open arms made to feel at home & looked after above & beyond,leaving the home is never easy ,but knowing how well looked after - is makes is easier knowing their in such caring hands. Thank you

My mum is in this care home with dementia, and the care she receives is outstanding. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate, and it's clear they truly care about the residents. Knowing my mum is treated with dignity and warmth gives our family great peace of mind. I can't thank them enough for everything they do.

The management and carers were second to none. I can't imagine anywhere else was better.

My Grandad has become a recent resident at Osborne House and I have been absolutely blown away by the standard of care, activities and frequent social media updates from the incredible staff. It seems the staff are working tirelessly to make sure the residents are entertained, involved and most importantly, happy. Huge shout-out to those who are organising and conducting activities. It's really great to see. Whenever we've visited we've been made to feel very welcome and encouraged to call in at any time. It's been an emotional time for everyone involved, but the entire team has made this difficult time very smooth and has given us all confidence that this was the best decision. It's also very clear that my Grandad is very happy and in a loving, caring environment. I really hope all of this amazing work by the staff is truly recognised and rewarded.

Every visit I've made to the home to see my mum. All the staff are friendly, approachable, very professional and patient with the patients. My mum is always clean and well-fed. The home organises entertainment and activities. I was really happy how quickly my mum settled and looked to the staff as her extended family.

Husband could be encouraged to walk a little more if he had a frame at his disposal, when I visit I have to ask for one.

I needed to find respite for my husband as I was having eye op, I looked at several homes, but Osborne House has a good feel. I was not disappointed, my everyday feedback online was so reassuring and with the addition of photos, I could see he was happy, as I have known him for a while. I can tell that full time care will be needed soon, and I feel confident that Osborne House will be a perfect setting.

All staff at this Care home deliver an excellent service for residents. They are caring and keep us informed of any concerns .

They keep residents occupied throughout day with various activities and also other entertainment

The position of this care home is also a bonus having excellent views of the sea and Welsh hills which can be viewed from the front of the building.

The receptionists make visitors very welcome. They remember the names of visitors which makes you feel most welcome.

We are pleased to have found such a good care home for our friend.

For the past nine years, this dementia care home has been a true sanctuary for my mother, and I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible care she has received. From the moment she arrived, the staff have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure she is safe, comfortable, and treated with the utmost dignity.

The team is not only highly skilled but genuinely compassionate. They know my mother as an individual - her preferences, her routines, and even the little things that make her smile. The personalised care she receives, allows her to maintain a sense of identity despite the challenges of dementia.

The food is excellent - nutritious, varied, and thoughtfully prepared. There's a vibrant programme of activities that keep residents engaged and stimulated, and the atmosphere is warm, respectful, and full of life. Thank you to everyone at the home for your unwavering dedication and care. You've made a difficult journey so much easier for our family, and we a deeply grateful.

Upon arriving at Osborne House - October 2024, my Dad has been made to feel, safe, secure and very welcome.

During his time living in Osborne House, Dad has had a few health issues and Osborne House has always been proactive and very supportive.

In particular, Dad has recently had a spell in hospital and initially the hospital medical team, did not know if he would pull through. Fortunately, he did. Osborne House went above and beyond, having training in the hospital, which enabled Dad's return, as otherwise without that, he would have had to move to another care home, They have provided a new bed, suitable for his current needs and safety equipment, as he is frailer since this episode.

The decision to move Dad into care, was a very difficult one. But Osborne House has eased us, as a family to realise it was the right thing for him. Seeing Dad settled, has been such a relief.
