are wonderful they are kind compassionate and go the extra mile to keep the residents happy, The manager really considers activities that he believes the residents would enjoy. The chef even made mum her own meal as she wasn't keen on the varied menu! Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is arranged for the residents and it's seamless from hair appointments, chiropodist to organising meds. The staff are very good at keeping us informed of how mum is getting on day to day. Visiting is no issue and we are always welcomed and made to feel comfortable.

warm welcome and were shown round a number of rooms and the facilities. Every member of staff we met was friendly and welcoming and it felt like a family home. I had another meeting with the manager to discuss details and he was open, friendly and happy to answer all our questions in detail. Mum and Dad moved into a double room last July 2024 and they are so well looked after. The home is clean, food is excellent and the staff provide a fantastic level of care. They have a variety of activities and celebrations and we used the Baa Bar for a private family birthday which was really lovely. We are so relieved to know they are being so well looked after. Excellent care home - well done!

she was living in her own flat. She was considered to be someone who did not like to socialise and didn't join in except within her own family. Since moving to Wentworth she is happy, content, joins in with others and refers to them as her friends and appears to be very competitive with lounge games. In my opinion this has been the best move for my mother's holistic wellbeing and I thank each and every member of staff for their kind care.

When Mum first came to Wentworth, staff promised that they would look after Mum WITH me (not for me) - and I can honestly say they have delivered on this promise ten-fold!

was not nice to me or the member of staff but he stayed calm and so caring and watched my father, it took him half an hour but he not only got my dad to eat but got him to smile. Amazing patience all the staff have and they all really enjoy looking after everyone who lives in the home. They are all heroes. They even look after and care for me as well. Such an amazing team.

I understand that the residents come first.
They give Mum plenty of care and attention, which can be seen when they stop and talk to Mum as they pass, Mum has a big smile on her face, the food is good and varied, and I have joined Mum for meals at times.
They have plenty of activities for the residents to join in and I have seen them get everyone involved where possible.
It is great to see videos from these activities, that are sent out to family members.
All of Mum’s needs are met, from doctors visits opticians ect, I take my hat off to the home for the care Mum is now receiving. Truly an amazing place, which has taken a lot of stress off the family.

he is happy. His room is airy, lovely and clean. The staff have been so understanding due to the sensitive nature, I only wish I could put before and after photos, as the change in my dad is remarkable. He feels he is at home, with people who genuinely care about him. He has made so many new friends with the other residents and staff and he enjoys the table tennis nights, singalong nights, and playing games, there is always something going on in the home to keep him entertained and enjoys the food which is made fresh on the day. This is a beautiful home, with park views, lovely staff and residents, I could not ask for anything more for my dad.

garden area and it looked splendid, they were both very happy to chat with me that’s not easy as I can talk for hours, but seriously Ty Draw Lodge is very well run and has the most attentive and caring owners and staff. I can’t say enough about them and I don’t have to worry about my sister she is very well looked after.
