Mum has been at Eastliegh since May 2025 and I can't fault the care she has been given. The staff feel like family and treat both the residents and relatives as if they were. Mum loves the food and is eating so much better than when she was at home. The entertainment is great, keeping her stimulated, as does the company.
Her room is lovely and well maintained, and with a recent diagnosis of vascular dementia, the staff have fully taken on board suggestions from a visiting dementia nurse as to what may be required to settle her, implementing everything recommended.

As an only child and having cared for my Mum for seven years prior to her moving in to Eastliegh, I can't begin to express the peace of mind I now have, knowing that Mum is safe and cared for. I would recommend Eastliegh to others in the same situation.

Eastleigh Care Home was absolutely wonderful.

All of the staff were friendly, kind, and patient, and there was a real sense of calm throughout the home, even when things were busy. That atmosphere made a significant difference during a very difficult time.

Although Mike was only there for a short period, I truly believe he felt at home, safe, and well cared for. Communication was clear and reassuring, and I was always kept informed of anything I needed to know.

I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the entire team for the compassion, dignity, and care they showed. It meant more than I can properly put into words.

I've attended the care home on numerous occasions working with the local nursery/playgroup. Staff were brilliant at keeping the residents entertained and setting up activities where the children and residents could form bonds. Staff were always well cared for, content and staff always went above and beyond for the residents

Overall Experience
The care provided at Eastleigh Care Home is exceptional. Mandy and her team show outstanding empathy, patience, and understanding in caring for my father, who is living with dementia. Residents are always treated with dignity and respect. All staff are incredibly welcoming, approachable, and consistently go above and beyond.
Support for Relatives:
The staff provide invaluable support to my mother, who visits daily, even offering help beyond the care home within the local community. The dedication of the team clearly puts residents and families first.
Communication:
As I live overseas, the excellent communication from the team has given me real peace of mind. I am immediately informed of any concerns or updates.
Overall Experience:

Knowing my father is receiving such high-quality care, while my mother is also supported, is incredibly reassuring. I would highly recommend Eastleigh Care Home to anyone seeking compassionate, professional care for their loved ones

My husband has been recently admitted as resident. The family and I were him as much as possible during his transition to Eastleigh, but now I am relying on 'video' visits due to my living remotely (different timezone!) Eastleigh carers are being wonderful - they help receive my calls to his tablet and sit with him. For someone with extreme limitations, this "extra help" from your carers, is fabulous.. it's something I know he enjoys and can look forward to. Thank you!!

A friendly comfortable home for the elderly, My dad has received excellent care and attention since he arrived ten weeks ago. I would recommend this home, the staff are well trained and show compassion and empathy. A very pleasant and happy environment for all who work. As a relative, I have always felt very welcome to visit and the staff recognised me very quicky. Would highly recommend the care received.

I have found the care my father-in-law receives is of a high standard. The nursing home provides a great variety of activities for the residents, the care givers are always polite and take interest in those they look after. The staff also include "wee" gestures of kindness in raising funds so the residents are well catered for i.e. movie afternoons, local singers etc which my father-in-law, really enjoys. All I can say is in the 2 years he has been there, he remains happy + content all due to the quality of care from the staff.

I can't fault the care and attention my mum got at Eastleigh. All members of staff gets to know the individuals personally and makes them feel welcome. My mum was there for 3 years and she felt safe and happy. It was clean and they left us make her room homely, we could put pictures up and she could have her personal things around her. They interact with the residents and put on as must entertainment that they can. Hairdresser on site. The staff were always welcoming.

Mum's being beautifully looked after. Always has her hair brushed, and her room is very clean. We live some distance away, but we are always granted access, despite arriving at impractical times for the staff! Thank you very much!

Overall Experience
My father has been a resident of Eastleigh Care Home since August 2023.
He is looked after so well by every member of staff to the point of being spoilt rotten. Each member of staff take time to chat with him, which I'm sure he appreciates as much as I do. His room is homely, clean and cosy and he enjoys being in there as well as sitting elsewhere in the dining room, sitting room or conservatory. There is no restriction as to where he is allowed to spend his time. As a daughter, visiting dad is always a pleasure (normally 2-3 times per week) and I am welcomed by all staff no matter what time of the day I appear. He's always clean and tidy and clean shaven. He eats well and enjoys the varied menu he is offered and thinks he is staying in a hotel as the tables are dressed well.

I can't think of a better place for my dad to be at this stage of his life. Eastleigh is very well managed and I appreciate seeing the same staff, which in my opinion means it's also a happy workplace.

I live abroad and can only visit my dad occasionally. I am happy to say I have always found him in a cheerful mood, obviously well taken care of. I receive email updates for anything significant (falls, medicines, illness, etc.) and I am happy that he is in good hands in Eastleigh.

My husband has been a patient in Eastleigh Nursing Home for over a year. He has settled in well there. He has a nice room on the ground floor which is good as he has mobility problems. He appears to be happy with the care, food, and the staff. He is always clean and always dressed in his own clothes. I am very happy with his care and treatment.

The wonderful staff at Eastleigh have been invaluable to our family following Mum's stroke in June 2021, which badly affected her mobility and speech. Whilst Eastleigh does not have the advantage of being purpose-built with a lovely garden, etc, the manager and the team have played a vital role in helping Mum come to terms with a different kind of future from what she expected. From the start, they recognised that Mum needed more than just physical care, and strove to build strong relationships with her, giving her back a sense of security and mental well-being that had been lost. Words alone can never express the level of gratitude I feel for all at Eastleigh, as they really did help us through our darkest days.
