It took a while but she has settled and began to enjoy herself. The staff especially management are great although the age of the building makes negotiating lifts a little difficult. I know she loves to be in the garden but only when weather allows as she loves nature. We know she is safe in Millbridge and cared for.

My cousins needs are well catered for in Field House, I find the staff and the carers always very helpful. My cousin has been in Field House now 6 months, and she seems to be doing well. And I feel she seems happy enough.

Mum has settled in nicely. She is very happy. The care given by all is amazing She is now eating and has put on weight. All in all she has adjusted well to the change in her life. The staff say she is very happy and loves dancing

We have had the best experience in Millbridge care home for my Mum. The staff were caring, kind and interacted well with the residents. The warmth of Millbridge spread to welcoming families too. We were offered refreshments and enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden. Don't change a thing and thank you for giving Mum the comfort she needed in her final weeks. We are eternally grateful.

My mum was treated with such dignity and respect in the last few years of her life, The staff loved her and it was a peaceful ending when she finally passed, after suffering disability from a stroke, she remained positive and could talk about worldly happenings right up to the end. I know the wonderful staff will miss my mum who had a lot of wisdom to give others. I will cherish that all my life!

Everthing is execelent staff conditions treatment cant fault anything

My husband has been in their care now for just under a year and I couldn't be more happy with the excellent, compassionate care he has received. All staff are friendly and I see them treating all the residents with dignity and respect. The activities coordinator brings fun to their lives and makes everyone feel welcome and included. Medically my husband receives excellent care too and I leave him there confident that he is safe, well cared for and perhaps even loved....

I find the staff very helpful, and nothing is to much trouble, the care they show my wife is very good. And they look after her well, the care they have given her has far exceeded the outcome the hospital gave. Nothing but praise for the care has shown her.

Staff are pleasant & helpful. Medication supervision is excellent. Prior to being resident, my mother was hopeless at taking medication. Her room is spacious and there is room for personal items to make her feel at home. Best of all, The Knolls is set in a wooded area and provides a garden for residents to walk & sit.

Overall the standard of care is excellent. Care plans are clearly communicated. The facilities are being continually improved. Excellent activities make a real difference to everyone's enjoyment and the food is of a very high standard.

Overall, it is the caring staff that makes The Knolls a welcoming residential care home.

My mother has been at The Knolls for over 18 months. She is much improved. The staff are excellent and without the nursing team my mother would not be with us today.

I could not recommend The Knolls enough and thank everyone for helping me at one of the worse times of my life.

My brother and I were really worried about finding a home where our mum would be happy and truly cared for, but we needn't have worried. The Knolls is simply amazing and mum is thriving. It is professionally run and communication is excellent.The staff are so kind to her and treat her with respect and compassion. The staff have really made the effort to get to know mum and always share information with us about her health and wellbeing. When we first visited the Knolls we were immediately struck by how happy the residents were and what a lovely feeling of relaxation and care the home had. Daily visits have shown this to be the case and we can't recommend the home enough. Wonderful staff, wonderful home that is giving mum the care in her final years that she deserves.

My sister was orginally at The Grange for a two week assesment period. All the staff are absoulety amazing, so very caring and compasionde. My sister is now a full time residient which we are so happy they have been able to accomodate her. My sister has a diagnosis of 'young' alzhiemers, and I was extremly anxious about her having to live full time in a home. The staff have gone out of their way to make my sister feel welcome, and due to age they alway make time to talk to her thank you.
