The Grange has made significant steps forward in the last two years. Carers are professional and well trained. The atmosphere is positive and supportive - in particular excelling in activities and day-today involvement of residents. The food is also excellent and much appreciated. Management have invested
in gear and technology over the last 2 years and can only be commended for that effort and the building of positive culture.

Each time I visit my mum, everyone is so welcoming and I get updated how mum is, and what sort of night she's had. The staff are all so helpful, friendly and caring. Mum loves the meals, and she receives regular drinks. The management are always very helpful, it puts my mind at ease knowing mum is being

Thank you to the manager, activities coordinator and all the staff for the excellent care given to my friend. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of entertainment and things to do. Trips out, which my enjoyed. Amazing food menu, well presented and served in a friendly, welcoming dining room. Lovely caring

Always welcoming and accommodating. Residents all appear to be happy and settled. Someone contacts me whenever there is an issue. I live four hours away so rely totally on the staff to look after my relative. Everyone that I have come into contact with has been helpful and accommodating.

My dad has been a resident at The Grange since August 2023, we are very happy with the care my dad receives, we don't have to worry about him as we know Dad is being well loved after. Dad enjoys the meals and joining in with the daily activities, the activities facilitator is absolutely brilliant. The
care home is very clean and has been recently redecorated throughout. The staff are very kind and friendly and the home is very well run. We often joke that we wouldn't mind staying there for a week! I would highly recommend The Grange as a care home.

We find the home is perfect for my mum, she is well looked after, if we do have any concerns we talk to the staff/management and the problem is worked out to a satisfactory outcome, I find all the staff are very helpful and do their best for the care of my mother.

My impression of the nursing home is excellent. The staff are very friendly and caring in nature to me and to the patients. I am happy that my mother is being cared for with kindness and compassion and that her dignity is being upheld. The environment is pleasant, clean and homely. Whilst my mother
is not in a position to participate in organised activities it seems they are beneficial. I was pleased to see in my mum's room some of her personal possessions. The food presented at meal times looks appetising and plentiful. I am impressed with the carers' patience at feeding time.

After our initial visit to The Grange, I knew my dad would be happy living there. The staff are so happy and friendly! The activity co-ordinator is amazing and there is always something exciting happening. The living area is bright, airy and spacious. The food looks delicious and there is lots of outdoor
seating which the residents are encouraged to use. My dad has mixed dementia and has many needs. I feel happy these are being met and he is being well looked after. We love to visit and are made very welcome!

Mom is not very good with her social side but she loves the staff. Having been there over 11 years, although she can be stubborn at times, the staff understand her very well, and also love her.

Mam has been at The Grange for 11 years. She is settled there with having dementia, the staff are very understanding, kind and patient with her all round. The place has been redecorated to a high standard and looks good and very relaxing. We are pleased with Mam's performance.

At the Grange from the manager down to carers all are absolutely first class. Nothing is too much trouble and I mean everyone employed there. My wife has been a resident at the home for thirteen months, and we are grateful for all they have done for her.

My sister has been living at The Grange for just over a year. She has settled really well and likes the staff and they seem to like her! She has complex physical and mental needs and says that the staff are very kind in the way they look after her. Their attention to her personal care is good. They
are professional, cheerful, approachable, dedicated, patient and well-organised. This is a happy place.
The Grange has recently been decorated in the corridors downstairs and the lounge has had a makeover which looks really good and lends itself better now to the many activities which go on each day, organised by the wonderful Coordinator. Tasty food is cooked on-site daily.
There is a beautiful well designed garden with access through the lounge but I feel this is very underused in good weather in summer and think that the residents could benefit from enjoying these surroundings and being outdoors as routine. I don’t know if there are staffing issues which prevent this from happening.

My Mum was admitted to The Grange for emergency respite care in March 2023 and was not able to return home. I feel fortunate that The Grange had a room available at the time. I have noticed, on my regular visits that all the care home staff know and use my Mum's first name and greet her with a smile.
Her individual needs and preferences are taken into consideration. Kitchen staff produce amazing, tasty food which my Mum really enjoys. The birthday cake they made for her was gorgeous. Carers and support staff have always been warm, friendly and welcoming towards us. The Grange does feel like 'home from home'

When my grandad was moved to The Grange we were apprehensive at first but we had no need to worry. Although he was only there a short time before he passed away, the staff were nothing short of compassionate, understanding, attentive and above all else caring. This was not just reserved for Grandad
but to all of our family as well. We were able to spend Grandad's last few days by his side in the comfort of a beautiful garden view room and we were always made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The staff really are a credit to their profession and The Grange exceeded our expectations in so many ways. There are not enough words to show our gratitude but we will be forever thankful to them for showing my grandad, and us, how care really should be given.
