It took a while but she has settled and began to enjoy herself. The staff especially management are great although the age of the building makes negotiating lifts a little difficult. I know she loves to be in the garden but only when weather allows as she loves nature. We know she is safe in Millbridge and cared for.

We have had the best experience in Millbridge care home for my Mum. The staff were caring, kind and interacted well with the residents. The warmth of Millbridge spread to welcoming families too. We were offered refreshments and enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden. Don't change a thing and thank you for giving Mum the comfort she needed in her final weeks. We are eternally grateful.

I have no complaints about anything at this home. Food isn't always to her liking but think mother's diet or her like of food is should we say limited, but believe they go out of their way to please her. Staff are pleasant have outings pretty regular. Mother won't join in activites happy, to sit in her room. So all good.

I feel the carers are very professional at their job. Very caring and cheerful. The management are very helpful. The place is very clean.

My friend is adjusting to being in a care home but acknowledges that it is the best it can be in the circumstances. There is always a warm welcome, and guests are quickly attended to. The gardens, food and atmosphere all contribute to this lovely home.

Everyone is on first-name terms, and kindness, dignity and respect are evident by all the staff, which makes for the excellent care needed for my husband's challenging care needs. My brother was looked after in a professional caring way. All the staff were friendly and loving towards him and he was very happy in all the time he spent at the care home. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff members in all aspects of his care.

The level of care and support my step father received was second to none. Every member of staff always showed kindness especially to mum and the rest of the family. My husband went to hospital after a fall at home in May 2023 and after a while they sent him to Millbridge - approximately 28 miles from where we live and as I don't drive I asked social services to find him somewhere nearer. He settled in well and truly appreciated all the care and support the staff have given him since his arrival there in November 2023. He died at Millbridge on the 14th of June 2024, and I shall ever be grateful to the staff there for all the loving care he received.

Such a friendly, caring, homely care home. The management and whole team are always friendly, professional and take pride in the care they provide for their residents. Also keeping us informed, either over the phone or in person when we visit, on the welfare of my husband. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I could not recommend Millbridge Care Home more.

I find Millbridge Care home very nice. The staff always make us really welcome. My stepdad is always happy and he is always clean. His room is so comfortable. My mother is a resident who is blind, deaf and suffers with high anxiety and OCD. Mum is treated with dignity and always reassured she is safe. Staff encourage Mum to join residents in the lounge and support with any activities that mum can join in with. Food is always prepared for Mum with a plate guard and cut up. Staff assist with all drinks and meals by explaining what it is and where each item is placed. Incredibly thankful to all staff for the excellent care, patience and support provided to my mother.
