Since my dad came to Braintree Nursing Home in January, we have noticed a real improvement in his mood and general demeanour. He loves the meals which always look well-prepared and nutritious. The staff are always attentive, respectful and caring and ensure that Dad is comfortable and happy. There are
many activities and celebrations for the residents to enjoy! We are happy with Dad's care.

Dad arrived at Aston Grange on January 26 after an assessment from hospital. He was greeted with warmth and given so much encouragement to help him settle. Yamine and her team have given father his life and dignity back. There is so much attention paid to him, the food is great, the facilities are amazing

Very anxious about the move from live-in home care to the nursing home, particularly as relative lives with advanced dementia and can be agitated and restless much of the time. I have found the home manager to be really supportive.
Staff have been amazing with relative, very patient and encouraging
and he seems to be settling into the different environment which has certainly enabled me to have peace of mind.
Reply from Justin Thomas, Area Support Manager at Aston Grange Nursing HomeThank you for your kind feedback. Were pleased to hear our team and Home Manager were able to support you and help your relative settle in, giving you peace of mind during this transition.

The most amazing care home! My dad is like a different man since being there. After a truly awful experience at his previous care home, the care he has received at Aston Grange is incredible. The staff (particularly Thinisha) are wonderful and treat my dad with respect, care, dignity and compassion.

Mum's been here since August for rest and rehabilitation as advised by social services and 7 specialists at the hospital. Lower Farm have provided excellent care they have highlighted a lot of Mum's care needs for when she is discharged home, we are now at week 7. Awaiting for social services to get
their job done.

Our brother entered Lower Farm in late July 2024. It was always known that he was terminally ill and sadly he passed away in late September. During his stay, all the staff provided him with very good care and treated him with respect and consideration making his stay during a very difficult time as
pleasant as possible. Equally, the manager and her staff were always available to talk to relatives as well as provide proactive updates on his well-being and made friends and family welcome when visiting. This was particularly important for the family due to the long distances we all live from King's Lynn. The final call from Lower Farm, never a good call to make, was very important as it gave us a last chance to spend some time with our brother before he passed away. Very professional but as importantly very kind and compassionate care.

My mother has been at Lower Farm since May 2023. She has settled in very well. She is a very fussy and small eater, but they try everything they can to give her food she will eat.
When she presses her call bell their response time is very good.
They try their utmost to make Mum as comfortable as
possible, as she is bedridden.
Whenever she wants something she gets it straight away if possible, obviously.
I have been very impressed with how Lower Farm is run. They are so caring and kind to Mum and I am so pleased I managed to get her a bedroom there.
The staff are also very kind and very friendly with me.
You can talk to the management about anything and they will do their best to sort things out.
So happy Mum is safe and happy in Lower Farm.
