After mum was diagnosed with dementia the family realised she needed full time care,
After a short time in another home her health deteriorated rapidly and ended up spending time in hospital,
We found Willow lodge and mum moved there from hospital,
From the first second we had entered the home the
feeling of compassion and care was immense,
Every member of the team welcomed Mum with open arms and reassured her that she was now safe again,
I visited mum regularly and could see how their care and support was making improvements on her health and happiness,
Mums rapid decline was evident though,
I visiting through the night to find one of the carers sat with mum, holding her hand, rubbing her forehead and just quietly talking to her making her feel at ease, it was just amazing to see
They excelled in every way,
You were all amazing, I can't thank you enough for what you did for mum in her last days, the love you showed and the care you gave can't
be taught it's in all of you, Thankyou

I genuinely wanted to THANK Willow Lodge and the team of passionate staff for amazing care for our lifetime family friend. The level of support is outstanding, never too much to ask and always available to talk to us with time, smile and plenty of coffee and biscuits. We are always with deep gratefulness
welcomed no matter what day of the week it is and what activities are planned.
The level of understanding my uncle's needs, his unique way of expressing himself and banter he lived with all of his life is supported, understood and reciprocated with respect and dignity which makes him and us all very happy.
On behalf of my family I truly thank you all at Willow Lodge, you are simply the best we could ever ask for my uncle's life despite all of his health difficulties at the moment you "magic" smile on his face.
We are very grateful.

I am forever grateful for Willow Lodge and the care they gave my Nan. I was sceptical at first as I had viewed one of the sister homes and I didn't get a homely feel and it seemed very clinical however when walking into Willow Lodge, we were greeted by all staff and all were so friendly and welcoming.
They were very accommodating and little to no restrictions for visits! They made sure my Nan's last weeks were the most comfortable she could be and I couldn't have picked a better place for her. While all the family were around during my Nans last hours, they constantly offered us teas and coffees and even a lunch! But they also made sure we had space to say our goodbyes. Thank you so much for all you did for her and even for us! Forever grateful.

Willow Lodge is truly amazing, the quality of all the staff is outstanding, under excellent management they create a happy, warm, caring atmosphere for the residents. My mother feels safe and well looked after. It is a challenging environment to work in but they are always cheerful and nothing is too
much trouble. I am always reassured that I could not have found better for my much loved mum.

When looking for somewhere suitable for my nan with Dementia I found Willow lodge. From my first visit until the last days of my nan life this place was amazing! From the day my nan arrived and become part of the willow lodge family you see how much each staff member and career gave to every resident
at the home! It was like they was all one big family. The time, love, care they give on a daily basic was amazing. I see this everyday as I would visit nan daily. When my nan got to end of life I couldn't believe how amazing the guys was there. The care plans that was put in place to make sure my nan was safe and looked after was unreal. I was honoured and aloud to stay 2 night the last days of my nans life and you just felt so comfortable and like part of their family there. All of them was on the ball constantly checking in every 20 minutes and just being there not just for nan but for myself. Us as a family will forever be greatful. We couldn't thank you enough! You guys are amazing

I looked at many local care homes for my mum that catered for Alzheimer's patients but just didn't feel like I'd found the right one. Then I found Willow Lodge, I was actually brought to tears by the ethos of respect and caring that I witnessed from all of the staff and how lovely the whole place was.
It wasn't easy for Mum or myself to make the huge transition into a care home and the first few weeks were tricky, however, with their undoubted knowledge and skill of caring for dementia patients and incredible kindness Mum has settled well and is very happy there. The food is cooked onsite and Mum says it is delicious. Her room is beautifully decorated and cleaned on a regular basis, with a stunning en-suite with a walk-in shower. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and give much-needed support and comfort to relatives as well as residents- it's a difficult time for us too! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willow Lodge and am so grateful to have found them.

My wife has been at Willow Lodge since May 2023 and I come and see her everyday. The staff and management are all very helpful and caring and look after my wife very well, they also give me lots of TLC too. I find it a very pleasant place to be, although my wife is bedridden the staff treat her with
kindness and compassion along with making sure I'm ok too. I would recommend Willow Lodge to anyone looking for future care for their loved ones.

My husband was a resident for just over four months at Willow Lodge till he sadly died. I have nothing but praise for the way all the staff cared for him. Nothing was too much trouble and he was looked after with kindness, dignity and respect. As a retired nurse myself and having managed care homes
in my working life, I'm well aware of how a good home should be run, and this most certainly is a well-managed care home. At the end of his life my family and I spent many hours with him and we too were looked after and supported through this difficult time.

My mum spent eighteen months in the care of the Willow Lodge staff. It was a difficult decision to send Mum into the care of people we did not know, but from the start she was welcomed and supported in every way. It was not long before she considered Willow Lodge her home, and the staff her friends.
All the staff were caring and respectful, always thoughtful and understanding. Mum loved to join in the various activities too. Thank you Willow Lodge for looking after my mum. I would highly recommend.

As others have said, it's a very difficult decision to entrust the care of a parent with dementia into the hands of - at the time - strangers. It felt like a leap into the unknown for all of us. However, we quickly came to realise that the love and care provided by all staff - from cleaners to management
- is second to none. We can't express enough how grateful we are for the care given to our mum in the final years of her life, and also for the practical and emotional support that we as a family were given. They've always been available to listen to us and reassure us during some very difficult times. They welcomed our mum into the Willow Lodge family and treated her with dignity, respect and love, even during the times when she could be a tad challenging! Thank you all for everything you've done - we can't recommend Willow Lodge highly enough!

My mum said she never wanted to go into a care home and my sister and I never wanted her to go into a care home. However as my mothers dementia became worse it was obvious that there was no other option. It turned out to be the best decision for everyone. Willow lodge is a modern well run care home
specialising in caring for those with dementia. It has excellent facilities and activities but most important of all dedicated staff who work hard to make sure residents are happy and well cared for, and make family members very welcome when visiting.

My mother was transferred to Willow Lodge directly from hospital back in June 2023.
On my first visit shortly afterwards I was so pleasantly surprised at the aura and ambience of the place.
Right from a refreshing welcoming face at reception and on to staff members going about their chores with copious
energy and smiles. No wonder the residents all looked content.
All her medical treatments, eye tests, Doctor, Dentist etc. are all methodically monitored and carried out when necessary.
Within herself she feels very much at home, happy to be there and being well cared for.
Food is excellent, and the whole place is fresh, spacious, and very clean.
Various activities are carried out each week to the delight of all the patients.
As a visitor, you can pretty much go at any time and stay for as long as you wish. You could stay for lunch, you've only got to ask for a drink, nothing is a problem.
Management team is superb.
Not surprising then, I can't recommend this place high enough.

My mother lived at Willow Lodge for over two years and just recently passed away. I cannot fault this home at all. The amazing staff there treated my mum with total love, respect and compassion. It was her home and they all became her family. She was always very happy there. The care she received went
above and beyond what you would expect, nothing was any trouble and we were always welcomed in at anytime, sharing lovely lunches with Mum and attending all the events and activities that were so thoughtfully arranged. My mum was treated with the utmost respect, kindness and genuine love by the fantastic staff, her room was lovely and the whole place is clean, fresh and beautifully looked after. My mum always looked well cared for with regular free hairdressers as well as visits from dentists, podiatrists etc.
I am so pleased we chose Willow Lodge and cannot recommend it highly enough.

My partner was transferred from another care home to Willow Lodge. Initially, I was concerned that he wouldn’t settle into his new residence however my worries were very soon alleviated as I realised that Willow Lodge is the right place to meet his increasing needs. The staff are professional, compassionate
and friendly towards their residents and their relatives, making us feel part of a family. The environment is bright, welcoming and clean.

The enclosed garden is peaceful and well-tended. The home-cooked meals are excellent, catering for any dietary requirements. The social events have been excellent, wonderful occasions when residents and families can gather and share experiences. The staff have not only organised and carried out these events but continue to carry out their work day duties as well. I know that my partner is safe, secure and cared for with compassion and dignity, I couldn’t ask for more and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Willow Lodge as an excellent care home.
