Mum has taken to vegetarianism late in life and since she is also a fussy eater (she isn't keen on beans) it is tough to provide her with an enticing, varied diet. The staff do make an effort, but there is often not a vegetarian option on the menu for her to choose (or reject!). The staff have had rather a long period of uncertainty regarding in - Home management, they have all worked harder to cope with rather fluid leadership. Now there are new appointees in place all should be well - personally I am already favourably impressed!
Thank you for your feedback. I'm pleased to hear that you feel things are moving in a positive direction. I can also confirm that vegetarian diet options are available. Additionally, I am currently working with the chef to review the menus, the overall dining experience in the home, and explore ways we can enhance both the presentation and the variety of choices offered. We are also looking at how to make these choices more visible and accessible to residents.

Thank you for taking the time to review our care home. Your feedback is very valuable to us. I am pleased to hear that the carers are supporting your mother to the best they can. I am however sorry to hear your dissatisfaction over the presence of our manager. I am surprised to hear this as the manager is usually at the care home Monday to Friday. I have discussed this with her and she has advised that her office door is always open and occasionally may have been closed due to attendance at meetings. Having said this, should you wish to discuss this in detail, we would be more than happy to meet you.

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologise for the dissatisfaction you and the service user have experienced at our care home.
As a care home, we aim to provide all our residents and their families with a high level of care and ensure they are supported throughout their journey in our care home.
The outcome of our investigation has been shared with the Adult Safeguarding team and CQC who have responded with no further concerns of our service.
